I know exactly what It is like to have a poorly child same as hundreds more parents in the uk.
Set aside my belief that I believe that bradley has very little dignity and both him and charlie are now used as some weird sort of click bait.

The supporters I do not understand it ?

We love you, we are heart broken and we will miss you.

Now I get empathy but this is not empathy this is media posts just gone crazy to write the most heart breaking post they can.
I wish neither of these children would have to lose their life and can undetstand the parents pain just like the rest of the terminally ill children in this country.

You can feel sad that these things happen but this just seems weird and could not imagine allowing a nation of people watching my child pass away.

About the Italian hospital's offer, though: given that Charlie's parents could probably afford to take him there, what's to stop GOSH simply saying "okay, over to you - sign the discharge papers, take him, do it all yourselves and remember that you'll be responsible for the consequences"?

I absolute realise this wouldn't be the best thing for Charlie, but then it seems to me that the current situation isn't either. So again, does anyone know if this could be done - or does the court order in some way prevent GOSH from releasing him now?

I honk it all comes down to what is in this child's best interests which involve prevention of further suffering.
If he can go without further suffering then it's fine but if he can't then it isn't okay to subject him to it.

I don't think FB should allow CA to post things like 'I hope one day you are ill like Charlie and someone does this to you' about TM. It is hugely unpleasant. Social media allows this sort of nastiness because people feel safe behind a screen. It worries me how horrible a lot of people really are.

puzzled I would imagine the hospital has a duty of care to Charlie and allowing discharge would go against that. I could be wrong, though.

I can't believe they actually thought tm had the authority to overule the courts. Including the supreme court, the appeals court, and the european court.

Words fail me. I hate TM's politics and can't say I'm particularly enamoured with her as a person - but to call someone a vile cunt for upholding the decision of a court just shows how stupid these people are. And the comments about her not understanding because she doesn't have children is beyond despicable.

It is time that this madness ended. That child isn't going to live, unfortunately and nothing anyone does is going to reverse his fate. It's time to let go.

Over the course of the last five days I've been reading CA on FB, Twitter etc and each day have thought "this is completely out of control".
But each day it's progressively worse! I keep thinking it can't get any worse but it is doing, each day.
This is scary.

They are getting more and more desperate as they have no information on what is going on inside GOSH (evidently from all the stupid accusations flying around) and so are clutching at straws to find anything to stop the ventilator being switched off before it is too late. Even if this is messaging the Queen, lighting up random unconnected buildings, protesting outside of again random unconnected buildings and tweeting anybody famous they can think of. I mean what exactly are Kim Kardashian and Jeremy Clarkson going to do

The longer it goes on the less it seems to be focused on the little boy in the centre of it all and more about CA 'winning' and showing that parents know best and that the government, law courts and NHS in our country are all corrupt.
