Junior gives timeline:

4-420 or 430: he meets to get Russian dirt.

The Brylcreem Kid has just released emails detailing the Russian correspondence on the offer, apparently. You have to wonder whether anyone could be as daft as he seems to be.

Based on that college story upthread and the 4 year old "loser" story, you could argue that revenge is a dish best served cold - and what a public, humiliating take-down!

But who is taking whom down?

Wow! Those emails are something else. Why on earth would be put them out...? My possibilities are:

1. he genuinely believes there is nothing of issue to be seen (I know this sounds crazy, but considering the recent past I don't think this can be discounted)
2. he is chucking them out in an attempt to cover something much worse. Hide a big treason with a littler one.
3. he just really, really hates his father.

One of the things that struck me from the emails was the familiarity. They came across as conversations between people who already have a relationship and that this offer of information was not an unexpected or strange be thing. I have no doubt there is more out there.

What do we conclude from all this? That Junior is even thicker than his father?

But who is taking whom down?

I get the feeling Donald Jr knows his goose is cooked, so he's throwing punches (metaphor salad, I know) to take out as many if the crew as possible. Taking down Kushner would be one in the eye for pop's fave, golden child Ivanka.

Poor DH is on a train home after a big meeting elsewhere & his phone is dying. He is gutted because today's Trump drama is deeply entertaining (except for the bit of it which is about screwing over democracy, obvs).
