Just that really! 😭😭😭😭😭 I am a completely blubbering mess! 😭😭😭😭

Waited 9 years for my DC to say his first word and he just spoke and said " oh no!" 😭😭😭

AIBU to keep him off of school tomorrow to take him to his favourite restaurant and park to Celebrate?! The places he really likes are normally extremely busy and loud if we try and go at weekends / after school or in the holidays and it doesn't result in an enjoyable experience for him!

I also so incredibly proud and I just want to treat him for talking even though I don't even think he is aware he has said a word! ❤️😭😭😭

Wow. Huge congratulations. You must be sooooo proud and happy.
What a Star he is!

BLUESEAPARADISE · 26/06/2017 16:22

Thankyou everyone I am unbelievable proud.. I told him he said his first word and that I was so proud of him but I don't think he quite understood what I was getting at and was more annoyed with me for getting in the way as he was trying to watch Elmo but I just wanted to cuddle him and tell him how proud I am of him !❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭

I am so shocked , Surprised and Proud I never thought this day would happen 😭😭😭

Nothing that I am aware of happened to make him say " oh no" but I am now that parent who is sat with the Elmo down on low volume in case he says something else 😍😍😍 ( much to his slight annoyance but I am sure the neighbours are grateful!😂)
