...to help me name our coffee shop?!

We have 'No. 6' in our town. It started out as coffee and cake and has morphed into a really nice casual restaurant/cafe.

I think the name is nice, not pretentious or irritating, and gives lots of room for tweaking your business.

Unles you are at number 69... Obviously....

I like the property number name idea, ie coffee at 41 or coffee 41

Also, PLEASE remember that not everyone likes or drinks coffee. Make sure you also serve good tea and that it doesn't get made with not-quite-hot water from the coffee machines.

I know the OP said cheap and cheerful but tea costs pennies to make so just dunking a teabag in a mug when you go to the effort of proper coffee for the coffee drinkers is unforgiveable really.

Well, I have nothing to suggest but I'm definitely pinching one of these names when I open my own coffee shop in my dreams

I like Coffee at 41 or Coffee and Cake best.

Dislike the names or punny ones, they seem a bit 'Kath's Kaff' to me. Of course, if you are a caff then fill your boots!

Oooh I like Snug. Maybe just Snug though rather than Snug Mug. Or Mug Snug.

I like a name that sounds good when you say 'Let's go to ......' best.

So 'let's go to Lu's' sounds better than 'let's go to The Coffee Shop on the Green'
