to ask what you are having for tea/supper/evening meal in this weather?

last night it was almost fucking unbearable standing making a paella for tea. I threw our balcony doors open (we live in apartment) but there's no real through breeze.

I havent taken anything out for tea but intended to make spag bol or chilli... now thinking sod that.

he is autistic so i will need to do a proper tea.

i just find something that takes as little time to cook as possible.

Quiche, jersey royals, salad

I've eaten nothing but huge plates of salad for the last few days.

Asparagus and goats cheese frittata with salad. Strawberries and raspberries for dessert.

Stew with left over meat from yesterday's roast dinner...

DC had gammon from the slow cooker with green salad, salad veg and brown bread and butter.

DH and I are having cold mushroom croustade left over from yesterday with salad

I'm lying it's not mushroom croustade it's baked Spanish omelette with asparagus and peas

Pitta, humous, lamb and salad

We also had paella last night, OP! Tonight we had cauliflower and dall curry. But I did get a bit hot and bothered cooking it.

Meal plan said tuna pasta bake. Ended up as a tuna and vegetable rice salad. Bloody lovely it was, too x

I made wilted spinach and mushroom pesto pasta which I ate sat on my back balcony (as it has a bit of shade by early evening) with a glass of sangria, I'm now going to move to my front balcony with sangria in tow to enjoy the rest of this glorious evening sun.

I'm fasting today so fish and courgette stir fry. Otherwise it would be Salad or BBQ.

Two fried eggs on toast, minimal cooking and not too hot.

"Rainbow plate"... DD's favourite, a fancy name for a plate of salad veges with cold meat... Lote of different colours on it obvs! Today we had everything but blue 😊

Made the 2 curries but tbh the heat from the hob was outweighed by the general heat.
Twas delicious though!
