To be fascinated by Larry the cat on Downing street

He sits by the door waiting to be let in, then someone magically opens the door for him . The other day I was watching sky news live and he was sat there patiently waiting to be let in, when someone eventually opened the door he just sat there and thought"nah, fuck it, i'll stay out here".

I wonder if he gets M&S or Waitrose cat food. What a lucky cat.

I went to an event there last year and stroked him. He is pretty unimpressed by people but quite soft. As cats go, I'd say he's a solid B+.

His attitude always reminds me of our old cat, pretty much 'fuck you' but with a softer side.

Cats are funny like that. It totally depends who opens the door in this house on whether the cat will enter. If it's me the cats will almost knock me off my feet to rush in. If it's dh they are much more cautious.
I wonder if Larry wakes the rest of downing street at 5am bawling to get in.

I wonder if he catches lots of mice. Would they get rid if he wasn't a good mouser . That's why they got him in the first place wasn't it.

What if a PM were allergic to cats? I mean, I might like to be PM one day (or possibly a benign dictator/queen type figure), and I love cats. But they make me sneeze and itch beyond belief.

I have met Larry a few times, he likes to sit just inside the front door at No. 10 and watch people arrive. He'll sometimes give you a sniff but generally acts with sustain. He totally thinks he owns the place!
