To be fascinated by Larry the cat on Downing street

He sits by the door waiting to be let in, then someone magically opens the door for him . The other day I was watching sky news live and he was sat there patiently waiting to be let in, when someone eventually opened the door he just sat there and thought"nah, fuck it, i'll stay out here".

I wonder if he gets M&S or Waitrose cat food. What a lucky cat.

But how do they know it's him and not some explosive carrying robot cat?
I say robot, because clearly you could not train a cat to do anything

I wonder if that's on the job specification for police officers who work at No 10?
Duties will include:

• guarding No 10
• providing security for x,y,z
• monitoring LarryCam and opening the door for him when necessary

Apparently there is a camera system that allows people to monitor the door so it can open when someone is there. The door doesn't open from the outside.

Yes the door has cctv, you don't actually need to knock, the policemen just open it for you.
