I just saw a set of twins in town today , wearing identical floral skirts, coloured blouses and purple coats.. Nothing wrong with that you say, well they were in their 70's I would think. I have seen them before in town and they always wear matching outfits. I know it is really nobody's business but their own, but I found it a little cringey.

There is a pair of twins dressed exactly the same that I see in my local Aldi. They also wear big blotches of rouge and blue eyeshadow, and their eyebrows are a sight to behold. They are very friendly and smile cheerfully at the comments of uninhibited small children.

Salty - Sad

Moregilmoregirls · 08/06/2017 20:07

I think they sound lovely

There is an elderly man near me who is often out shopping pulling his shopping trolley and wearing a dress and sandals and socks. Yes I look twice but if he is happy and comfortable what is the harm?

QueenofEsgaroth · 08/06/2017 20:09

I will also say YABVVVU for using "my bad" OP.

user1467976192 · 08/06/2017 20:11

Maybe they were only matching today because they were out to commit some trickery.

acornsandnuts · 08/06/2017 20:12

We have some twin pensioners here that dress like Cher in her turn back time video. Black skimming clothes big permed her and often sporting trainers and baseball hats. I think they're fricken fab.

There are two women locally who are just a little younger than me. They used to live down the road when I was a kid. Their gran lived opposite us. They would be dressed identically even though they are not twins and them, their mum and their gran went everywhere together.

30 years later they still wear the same clothes, still go every where with mum and gran, had babies within a couple of months of each other and had a double wedding with identical wedding dresses. I repeat....they are NOT twins. And even if they were, everything except dressing the same on an every day basis is Hmm

Now that is weird.

I was fortunate enough to see these lovely ladies in San Francisco before they died. They spread a lot of joy. I think it's lovely.

We used to see triplet women round our way who were at least in their 70's all dressed identically and fabulously so!!
last year we started seeing just two of them. It made us feel really sad.

QueenofEsgaroth · 08/06/2017 20:14

Twin Chers would make my week Grin

LizzieMacQueen · 08/06/2017 20:15

It's walking art. Hats off to them.

stargazer2030 · 08/06/2017 20:17

I think it's sweet. I saw elderly twin sisters today wearing identical outfits in different colours - 1 pink and 1 blue, with identical flowery brollies. Made me smile.

Travelledtheworld · 08/06/2017 20:19

There used to be a pair of twins like that in York. And one of them would start a sentence and the other would finish it. I think they had their own secret language too.

It wasn't Nessie and Jessie from Loch Dubh, was it?

Hamsh Macbeth will be looking for them.

Out2pasture · 08/06/2017 20:29

quaint in a heart warming way.

beepbeepimasheep · 08/06/2017 20:29

OP you sound very judgemental and really quite unpleasant.

Catsick36 · 08/06/2017 20:32

You in Maidstone/ Medway. If so those twins are additional needs. It makes them happy wearing the same clothes.

Fluffypinkpyjamas · 08/06/2017 20:37

I find your post cringey. I think it is very sweet and it affects you in NO way whatsoever. Odd is feeling the need to post about it.
