By all means educate or express the reasons why you are voting for x.

But stop insulting or trying to guilt people into choosing the same vote as you.

I am so fed up for these threads trying to 'persuade' people to vote for a certain party. I've even seen a few trying to guilt you into voting for certain parties!
I can't wait for this to be over. No one can change the decision regardless of who wins, so it's time people just accept that. When AIBU stops being clogged with politics il be happy .

indeed vote for who you want but PROPERLY educate yourself first, don't go by the papers all owned by billionaires.

The internet is a brilliant thing, you can check manifestos and voting records and get past the scaremongering - a lot of which has been racist, hateful and disgusting. A fair few papers should be shut down for their inciting of hatred.

I don't know why people get so upset about those threads. I really don't.

I'd say if you can afford to be jaded by it, rather than terrified, then you're in an incredibly privileged position.

People are genuinely afraid they're not going to be able to feed their families, that they're going to be forced to work through their disability. People are scared - so they try and persuade others to see things from their point of view.
