Both papers today have done themselves proud with their anti-Labour rhetoric and lies/misinformation.

So it does beg the question, who reads this rubbish and believes it? Anybody with half a brain cell and google can find facts out for themselves.

Am I being naive and people just don't want the truth, they want a version of facts that they believe is true?

Apart from anything else, it's just absolutely rubbish journalism.

Best way Wink

My parents read the mail. It is their Bible.

The believe every single word. No other source for their general knowledge other than this newspaper.

I have never bought a newspaper, apart from local for job hunts, despise the media lies, and get my information from a very broad source of conversations, internet, reading, tv etc

As a result, my opinions can change and move with the times.

Theirs, however, are very rigid.

DH reads the sun he is highly qualified and not illiterate!

Categoric · 10/06/2017 10:36

People read the Mail and the Guardian because they are free on line, not necessarily because they are committed to either paper's views. My DH often picks up a free copy of The Sun at the airport (and any other free paper). It makes him laugh. And football mad men will read the sports pages of anything...
