If I were to attempt to 'translate' my beliefs to the UK's system I'd say I'd probably vote either Labour or Lib Dem. But I have to admit that many of the issues are so singular to the UK that I've had a hard time keeping track of what my feelings would be about certain (mainly domestic economic/social safety net) issues.

I bet Sessions loved hearing how everyone but the public knows about his Russia involvement.

Isn't it telling that he is issuing a statement through a personal lawyer rather than using White House counsel? This is a political issue, not a personal one so are we to assume no one in the Counsel's office wanted to go near this one?

It means that he is looking to rebut his personal criminal liability in the matter. A sitting president cannot be indicted on criminal charges and a former-president would not be entitled to a govt attorney after impeachment or resignation.

Personally, I don't think there will be one this side of the mid-terms. It's down to personalities now.
