...on this grey Monday?? (well - its grey and bloody miserable up here anyway!) .... not writing anything much here as don't want to influence guesses.

I'm 5ft10

V bored perma-breastfeeding, so hoping this will provide a lighthearted distraction.

Op....you have a 2 month old baby?!
You have an amazing bod. I'm 5'11" and weigh 10 and half stone. I'm not brave enough to post a photo in my undies but believe me when I say that even though I'm lighter than you, you have a much better body than me (and my baby is 10!) I'm slimmish but have wobbly bits where you have muscle.

ToElleWithIt · 05/06/2017 10:33

I was going to guess 65kg. You look amazing. Seriously fit and healthy.

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:34

baby has stopped crying... phew!.... he really is a little dictator.

I'll rattle through a few questions.... sorry for lack of tagging people.... baby only lets me put him down a few mins a time and my typing is poor due to sleep deprivation.

Routine.. a lot to write here but anyone welcome to pm and I can elaborate. I do love training.

I only do weights.... I'd do cardio maybe only a few weeks before a hol and that would only be 30 mins per session.... or only 20 if HIIT.

I work 2 body parts at the same time to keep my 'working time' up and reduce rest time as I have to pack a lot in quickly to get back home to BF. So ideally it will likely go like (not going exactly this way to due to baby colic etc)

Mon - legs & abs
Tue - Back and bi's
Wed -Shoulders and Tri's
Bis and butt - (almost an extra session for butt as gets hit hard in legs but I like it bigger and it burns a lot of fat)
Thur - off :)
Fri - Legs and abs
sat - shoulders and bis (second hit of the week as these parts are slow for me)
Sun - off :)
I dont train chest as have implants due to my mis-spent youth Grin

I lift 4 sets of 10 -12, as heavy as I can... should be almost failing on last couple of reps) and I do 5 exercises each body part.

..... example

12 shoulder fly free weights + 12 barbell squats .... repeat 4 times
12 front cable raises + 12 cable squats + repeat 4 times

I do free weights and machines.... the best for quick results are big exercises like squats and dead lifts. The thing is to lift as heavy as possible and not to think 'toning' with little weights that will put a hole in your time and achieve little.... and ignore people who say you'll get big.

gahhhh... husband has just brought me a dairy free 'millionaires slice' (baby demands I go dairy free for his colic.... thanks for that) .... it is tasty.... bugger it. Nom nom nom..... if I share with the dog it'll negate the matter Grin

You look utterly incredible for 12 stone. I just cannot believe it. Any chance your scales are wrong?

What a shitty comment and such a backhanded compliment. Not you look amazing BUT you look amazing - for 12 stone.

I'm sure the OP doesn't care but comments like that make people feel shit.

bruffian · 05/06/2017 10:38

I am the same height as you and weigh less but I am a completely different body shape.

5amisnotmorning · 05/06/2017 10:40

You see your body is the kind I would like my daughter to grow up seeing. Fit, healthy and strong. A body that can run and jump. So what if you are 12 stone?

ScrambledSmegs · 05/06/2017 10:40

Jeepers, you've just had a baby! You look fantastic, healthy and strong. Don't be so hard on yourself.

I wish we could let go of our socially-imposed preconceptions about weight. Your body is what 12 stone looks like, and it looks bloody good.

bruffian · 05/06/2017 10:41

Not sure about the daughter thing. It takes an awful lot of slightly obsessive work to look like that. Plenty of fit healthy women can run and jump but dint spend every day in the gym.

Talith · 05/06/2017 10:41

This is why I stopped doing weights. I did similar to you 4 x a week and didn't like the weight gain. Now I do shit tons of cardio when I get around to it and small weights and a few rounds of squats and crunches only. I've still got a bit of definition but dropped a stone and overall prefer how I look.

If you like how you look then try not to let it bother you. You clearly aren't remotely unhealthy based on the evidence Grin

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:41

no offence taken from any posts, I DID feel shit, really shit when I stepped on the scale but have made my peace with it and the post was aimed at the same for others really. Not that I am any example, but I just felt 'wow' at being made to feel like (by the media I suppose) I had to lie when I was asked how much I weighed soon after.

bruffian · 05/06/2017 10:42

How on earth does your weight even come up in conversation?

Ravenblack · 05/06/2017 10:44

@Lookforthelight

WOW, making out a comment that is clearly complimenting someone is a nasty comment. Some people on here are unbelievable!

That poster was obviously being nice. The only one being 'shitty' is you.

You look about 70 kilos OP. And yeah you do look pretty good.

Did you say your weight btw, what is it?

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:44

horses for courses isnt it? ( have four of those too...so that helps)

Some people like more muscle, some less, some none. Must say I'm not a fan of the steroid look, but there are some and thats up to them, a lid for every pot and all that

OP posts:
hmcAsWas · 05/06/2017 10:45

OP - some people genuinely do weigh 'heavier' despite being lean.

I had insufficient body fat to sustain my menstrual cycle when I was 11 stones and my periods stopped. I am 5 feet 8.5. I had a BUPA health check at around that time and they said my body fat percentage was in line with an elite athlete and that I could do with gaining a few lbs. I wish I was still around that weight (am quite porky now a few years later)

I do know exactly what you mean though. I felt I should have weighed 9 or 10 stones like everyone else - but the reality is that I would have been really quite unhealthy at that weight. I'm a strong athletic build (or was) as in large, heavy skeleton, high muscle mass etc....

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:45

@raven ..... TWELVE stone..... twelve stone of gravity sticking me to the planet Blush Grin

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:47

@hmcAsWas .... bloody hell.. Thats a loud and clear sign from mother nature isn't it? goes to show. 8st for many (not all!) is a fib... I'm calling FIB!!! Grin

artycakemaker · 05/06/2017 10:48

You look amazing. You have a slim, toned strong body, and I think you look incredible.

I am 12.6 stone and 4 ft 11. I have just right this minute decided I am not over-weight. I am under-tall.

Foggymist · 05/06/2017 10:49

Celebrities are very very short, much shorter than you'd think. Beyonce is only about 5ft 6, Kim K is as somebody mentioned 5 ft 2/3, Britney is 5 ft 6, even the menfolk are much shorter than you'd think! You look fantastic never mind for 2 months pp. I'm 5ft 7 and about 10 stone (pre pregnancy), 10 stone of pure softness, not an ounce of muscle tone. I've no hips or bum, 34D boobs and a round tummy, you look totally different and far slimmer and fitter than me because you're toned and clearly workout. There's no point comparing yourself to your husband, he's a different gender, hasn't had a baby, probably isn't the exact same height and build as you?

dontbesillyhenry · 05/06/2017 10:49

I really dont get this thread? Hope you got what you wanted from it OP

Ravenblack · 05/06/2017 10:50

For your height that is really good. You look lovely. Trim, toned, and healthy. #jealous

Dawnedlightly · 05/06/2017 10:52

You silly mare, it's 12 stone of muscle and yes some 'life sustaining breastfeeding boobs'
Don't change a thing. I'm 3 stone lighter and 4" shorter- and would kill for your body.

Truckingalong · 05/06/2017 10:53

Whoever said 14 stone needs to get to specsaver. I was gonna say 10 st 10.

bruffian · 05/06/2017 10:54

Yes, I hope this thread is helping the OP

Hmm
LastSummerWine · 05/06/2017 10:57

This is the body of a woman breastfeeding? Surely you didn't birth that child, that stomach is washboard flat Shock

I also love the cut of the pants, (at the risk of sounding weird), please where are they from?
