...on this grey Monday?? (well - its grey and bloody miserable up here anyway!) .... not writing anything much here as don't want to influence guesses.

I'm 5ft10

V bored perma-breastfeeding, so hoping this will provide a lighthearted distraction.

Wow, just wow ! 😮
What a fabulous figure you have OP, I'd guess 9.5 stone.

TheDowagerCuntess · 05/06/2017 10:02

Smokin' bod, OP.

I'm about 5' 9" and weigh 72 kg (about 11.4 stone) so slightly lighter than you, but my God. I wish I looked like that. Envy

I would've put you at about 65kg.

AmateurSwami · 05/06/2017 10:03

Op if I was brave I'd post you my 2 years on, 13 stone body. You'd faint. I'm a flubbery mess. The other day I almost refused to take my kids swimming, then though FUCK THAT BOLLOCKS and took them and we had a brilliant morning. Ant be fucked any more with numbers.

You're healthy and take great care of yourself. Lob the scales.

TatianaLarina · 05/06/2017 10:03

What did you weigh pre baby and pre training?

If you're shocked that you're 12 stone, were you less before?

You're very tall and muscly so I don't think there's a 'right' weight.

HellonHeels · 05/06/2017 10:04

You look great! Stop reading those rubbish gossip magazines, you'll feel better instantly. Seriously they are full of shit and thrive off body shaming / weight obsessing.

A tall body with a lot of muscle is always going to weigh more than an un-exercised/less muscular, shorter body. I don't think you've anything to worry about.

OuchBollocks · 05/06/2017 10:04

All this thread proves is that people can't guess weight accurately and that scales can't accurately reflect fitness levels, muscle tone, body fat percentage or general health. OP as someone who clearly knows a lot about fitness and training you must know this yourself. Unless you need to be in a weight category for an event chuck the bathroom scales and buy a tape measure. What's your waist measurement?

Mrsdropdeadfred · 05/06/2017 10:07

I have the same problem Blush my youngest is 4 weeks old, I've been breastfeeding, eating healthy, drinking water blah blah blah and really started to feel quite good about my body.. until I stepped on those bastarding scales and it told me I was roughly the same weight as a elephant!

ohtheholidays · 05/06/2017 10:07

9.7 stone,10 stone at the most but the 10 stone would be because of your height and muscles.

What ever you weight you look amazing!

BeyondDespairandRepair · 05/06/2017 10:08

wow op you dont look 12 stone and your fig is fabulous I would be thrilled with a figure like that

OuchBollocks · 05/06/2017 10:09

But she does look 12 stone, because she is 12 stone, its just that people have a skewed idea of what a tall muscular 12 stone woman looks like.

BeyondThePage · 05/06/2017 10:11

Do you have a really massive 3 stone head?

'cos I can't see where that 12 stone is put - you have a lovely figure, and a lovely baby, and a whole lot of envious mumsnetters!

ohtheholidays · 05/06/2017 10:11

Sorry for cross post 12 stone? Are you sure, there is no way that you look like you weigh 12 stone and your baby is gorgeous.

AyeAmarok · 05/06/2017 10:11

You look fab. I will going to say 8.5stone until I read your height. Then I'd say maybe 10. You're in perfect shape and proportion.

Kim Kardashian absolutely does not weigh 8 stone. Maybe if she were up Mount Everest.

skinnyamericano · 05/06/2017 10:12

OP you look amazing, and clearly work hard to achieve that body.

I'm the same height and about half a stone lighter, but I look considerably bigger and wobblier than you! I don't weight train though, do quite a lot of cardio, but eat too much crap.

Enjoy your baby, keep doing what your doing and throw out the 'sad step' as Joe Wicks calls it. (And ignore slebs' lies)

Exercisejunkieforlife · 05/06/2017 10:14

Op you've made me feel sooo much better, I'm 5 foot 7, weigh a little less then you but also do weights and although not as toned as you are I am toned.

My 'baby' is 5 though, there is no way I looked like you 2 months after a baby.

You look amazing btw. 😊

Iamastonished · 05/06/2017 10:14

If you do 40 g protein, 30g fat and 30g carbs or pro rata at every meal, how do you do it? Do you weigh everything? And where do fruit and veg fit in?

I would also love to know your gym routine. I do pilates and cycling and some weights, but not enough, clearly. I can't do much else due to a foot injury.

skinnyamericano · 05/06/2017 10:16

Actually, I've just remembered when I did try weight training, my weight crept up and up, until I gave up. I was so pissed off with gaining weight, I didn't really consider what I looked like. Stupid really.

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:17

mrsdropdeadfred ... this!

I felt like... ok likely back at 'weight' .... 11st -ish for others asking, but 12 stone ..... 12 effing stone. ... and 3lb to be precise, and I know I have LESS muscle so can't 'use' that excuse. I was furious Grin.

Someone asked waist measurement....not checked, will do - was 44" while preg, 26" while 'fit' I know its not that at the min, maybe 29 or 30.. or 31

Anyway - again thank you for the nice comments, I'm not really bent out of shape about not being 8st (god I'd have to remove both legs at the knee it would seem!) and it is lighthearted

ScarletSienna · 05/06/2017 10:18

I would have guessed pretty accurately actually but that is because I know other women at the gym who look similar and are similar weights. They work hard to achieve that amount of muscle and muscle isn't made of polystyrene! The number on the scales does not say your fat percentage and that would be a lot lower than other people's who could be the same weight. I saw a meme recently where there were 5 people all with the same weight but very different bodies. You are strong and healthy so that is 12 stone of goodness!

Backt0Black · 05/06/2017 10:19

Exercisejunkieforlife I'm glad.... was sort of the aim of the post.... its ok not be 8st, really it is, and if everyone walked round with a number on our tshirts with our REAL weight on it'd be pretty bloody different to what we're told to believe!!!!

Still though..... TWELVE BLOODY STONE ha ha ha ha Grin

OP posts:
Beijingyouth · 05/06/2017 10:22

Throw away your scales. really. You're going down a dangerous alley thinking about all this...stop that obsession of your DH's or Kim Kardashian's weight...and she's probably way shorter than you are...

Honestly. Stop. Thinking about this. All you need to know is this...You look super fit, toned and slim. End of.

TatianaLarina · 05/06/2017 10:25

I simply cannot see where you are carrying the extra stone! Unless it's all on your boobs haha.

bruffian · 05/06/2017 10:27

Yes you look about 12 stone. You are very muscular and muscle weighs more than fat.

MargaretCavendish · 05/06/2017 10:28

You look utterly incredible for 12 stone. I just cannot believe it. Any chance your scales are wrong?

These (and all the similar ones) were exactly the sorts of comments I got as a teen and in my early 20s (though I was never as beautifully toned as OP, just pretty slim and reasonably fit) and they always made me feel like such a freak! No, my scales aren't broken, I just really am some sort of bizarrely heavy natural wonder!

MrsD79 · 05/06/2017 10:32

Wish i looked like that!
