She's just so scrumptious. Lovely little tiny toes and fingers. And chubby elbows and knees. I just want to have a nibble!

I know exactly what you mean :-) i'm always kissing those teeny toes and chubby legs

NotEvenListening · 02/06/2017 15:37

Definitely not unreasonable. I love new babies, the cuteness and smell is irresistible and could easily swallow one whole Grin

Hayels · 02/06/2017 15:38

This is a real thing apparently!!

I definitely can't handle how cute she is! Those rose bud lips! Her funny little half smiles. I'm going to gobble her up with a side of chips.

Oh yuk. The thread title makes me shudder. Maybe I'm too literal.

Helendee · 02/06/2017 15:41

I used to nibble my babies' bottoms after a bath, so cute and chubby I couldn't resist. Wink

silkybear · 02/06/2017 15:42

Not unreasonable. Eat those scrummy little feet Grin

SheSaidHeSaid · 02/06/2017 15:42

YABU.

Go and make yourself a cheese sandwich if you're hungry.

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 02/06/2017 15:44

YANBU. I still could eat my ds (22 months) up. And apparently he now feels the same way about me... Grin

DoubleCarrick · 02/06/2017 15:45

I kiss 5 month old ds on the cheeks so much that he's already learnt to give kisses back Big sloppy open mouthed kisses - often with a couple of licks too. So cute!

TheWeeBabySeamus1 · 02/06/2017 15:47

YANBU, my DS is 2 now and I still want to bite his little chubby feet and legs. It's nature, you can't fight it!

Laiste · 02/06/2017 15:47

YANBU Grin It's the toes that do it for me - right up to about 4 years old.

Be careful though. DH accidentally actually bit DD4's finger when she was about 3 months old while having a play nibble. Left a mark. He was totally mortified long after the mark faded

SumThucker · 02/06/2017 15:49

YANBU.

fruityb · 02/06/2017 15:50

I could nibble on my son's chubby cheeks all day! YANBU

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 02/06/2017 15:51

I work with new parents and babies 95% of them say this
Babies are delicious
Ds2 was very fat, Dp would spend ages squishing his face and tummy while the baby giggled away

Herbie22 · 02/06/2017 15:51

Carrick I tried to kiss DD on the lips. Her mouth was open, next second she was trying to suckle my lips. Guess the feeling is mutual!

We lived in southern Spain when dd was tiny - there's a saying there: "When they're babies, you want to eat them - once they're teenagers, you wish you had" Grin

(Though actually not true here, dd is a lovely teenager and was the non-sleeping-sicking-up-screaming-colicky- baby from hell . . .)

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 02/06/2017 16:01

Sadik that's fabulous! Grin

CaveMum · 02/06/2017 16:02

YANBU: 6 week old DS is asleep on me as I type (one handed!) He's a chubster too: 8lb 13oz at birth and 10lb 14oz at weigh in a week ago. He's being weighed again next week and I anticipate he'll be at least 12lb judging by the way his 0-3 month clothes are stretching!

QueenofallIsee · 02/06/2017 16:06

YANBU - My brood are all growing up fast now but my sister has just had her first and my need to nibble him is overwhelming! He has little baby rolls of chubbiness...he is so cute I can't stand it

DarkFloodRises · 02/06/2017 16:07

YANBU. My eldest is 11 and I'd still love to take a little bite out of him. Luckily I've managed to restrain myself so far.

Spangles63 · 02/06/2017 16:08

I remember when my DD ( now 33) was a couple of weeks old. My late DM was cuddling her and said ''Ooh I could eat you!'. My then husband looked rather worried and said 'Don't do that!'.

mortificado · 02/06/2017 16:09

Sadik that's great! Grin and its true with half term atm!

MaidenMotherCrone · 02/06/2017 16:10

Mine are grown up and I no longer want to eat them but I do like to hug them very hard.

They in turn like to twirl me round and pat me on the head telling me how small I am.

They've gone from delicious smelling babies to lovely smelling hairy men.

Anyone else getting alarmingly broody from this thread or is it just me?
