Hi lovely MNetters! 💋

Posting in AIBU for traffic.

On Sunday I'm leaving in Rome... alone. Was supposed to leave with a friend however, due to severe family problems, can't come anymore.... so it's me myself and I. First I was pissed (obviously on the situation-not her), now I find it as a "finding myself journey) after a very rough and emotionally challenging year.......

What did you visit/buy/eat in Rome and loved it? Please give me some advice;

On my list I have- Jo Malone shops (we don't have them in the country I live now)
-Kiko & PUPA cosmetics
-zara temple (lol)

Visiting- Colosseum
-vatican
_fontana di trevi
-st peter's basilica

Please help!:-)

If you are planning going to the Colosseum either buy your tickets online before you go or buy them from the ticket kiosk at the Forum - that way you will be able to walk straight in past the horrendous queue . Same goes for the Vatican. Get to to the Vatican early - before the tour buses arrive.

Rachel0greep. We stayed at Hotel Miami. Good location, 10 minutes walk max to train station, 10-15 to the colosseum. The red hop on hop off tour bus passes in front! Affordable basic hotel but nice. I also stayed there in 2015 and would return again.

Thanks sunshinemeg.

Hope that OP is having a lovely time.

Hello everyone!! Managed to see pretty much everything (except Trastevere as I didn't have any time left thanks to queueing in Vatican ffs) and your lists were useful!

I had a lovely time even though it must've been like 40 degrees and melting.

Wanted to thank you for your lovely advice & raise a pic of (fatty) me soon to be skinny lol!
