To think there are a lot of Tory shills on this site at the moment?

All these "I'm so sacred of Land Tax/is Corbyn a terrorist/the BBC is biased to Labour" threads can't be real, surely?

Jesus Motherhood calm down! Are you Katie Hopkins by any chance?

Moussemoose · 01/06/2017 21:30

I believe Boris Johnson is very well 'educated'. Is he clever enough to be PM?

Assuming that Mumsnet is a cross section of society I think there are remarkably few 'Tory shills' on here. It is, imo, a predominately left leaning site.
Anyway it would be boring if everyone had the same opinion.

"I believe Boris Johnson is very well 'educated'. Is he clever enough to be PM?"

He's a KS, so despite buffoonery, there has to be a good brain in there.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 01/06/2017 21:46

Apparently it's not on to call Corbyn "thick"

I dont give a shit if you call some random politician thick

I do take exception at you calling anyone who didnt go to university thick

I think those sorts of comments are...thick

lubeybooby · 01/06/2017 21:46

MotherhoodFail

It seems the only qualification needed to become leader of the Conservative party is the willingness to be so puppeted and robotic you fail the turing test

And I'd rather DA's broken left pinky fingernail than Boris

Election time MN irregular verb

You sound like Bernard from Yes Minister Grin

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 01/06/2017 21:54

Not sure Bertrand, who can possibly have got 2 E's at A level and then dropped out of his ex-poly after a year? (It's worse than I thought - he didn't even get a third...) Surely nobody as thick as that would go for PM?

I am struggling to read the above any other way

Really happy if i have misread the above...or is only people running for prime minister with no degree that are thick

Moussemoose · 01/06/2017 21:55

So it's OK to have a 'buffoon' as PM but not someone who doesn't meet your educational standards?

I work in education but I think some people are putting far too much value on exam results.

Its exactly what i said...

Moussemoose · 01/06/2017 22:08

MotherhoodFail people complain that we have identikit politicians and then complain because they don't fit the mould.

Corbyn has not followed a traditional route is that necessarily a bad thing? BJ has a classic education but is an abject tosser.

Don't vote for his party because you don't agree with it's policies not because of his education or lack thereof.

Let's also remember only a few of us vote for the party leaders we vote for our constituency MPs.

Yes

I took this comment

Not sure Bertrand, who can possibly have got 2 E's at A level and then dropped out of his ex-poly after a year? (It's worse than I thought - he didn't even get a third...) Surely nobody as thick as that would go for PM?

To mean that anyone who doesn't have A degree is thick

I do not care if you think Corbyn is thick because of his actions as a politician.....his lack of qualifications doesnt make him thick

Moussemoose · 01/06/2017 22:16

MotherhoodFail you don't agree with him so don't vote for his party. You brought his qualifications into the equation. I couldn't care less about them.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 01/06/2017 22:16

Fucks sake - AIBU to notice that there are lots of threads on here whining that there are lots of threads accusing Tory HQ Of infiltration. And of course no Labour infiltrators.
