AIBU to ask the woman next to me for her gherkin?

I'm in McDonalds and the woman next to me has removed the 2 pieces of gherkin from her burger and put them on the side.

God I want them. The best bit of a McDonalds. Maybe I can distract her then grab them.

I'd be a gherkin-snatcher. Lidls do a huge pot for around £1 since they're German and all Germans love pickles (major claim - like the Brits all like roast beef).

It's just I work there and asking for no relish means different things to different people.

So when you say no relish, you mean no pickle and no salad.

Other people say no relish and mean no sauce.

That's all I was trying to clarify.

I got really pissed off once when I ordered a fillet of fish with no tartare sauce. It turned up minus the tartare sauce and no cheese. When I queried this,the guy on the till said 'Yeah well you requested no sauce'. I said that cheese wasn't sauce. He replied that if you request a f of f without sauce,you also don't get any cheese! This was about 4 years ago. Does this still apply? Or have they had so many complaints,they've had to change it?

If you order a filet of fish with no tartar sauce, it still comes with cheese!

So my DS LOVES plain meat with cheese ( no pickle or ANY relish). My DS LOVES meat (NOTHING EXTRA ) .. I LOVE Fillet-o-fish (with extra mayo - now I know 😄 I can ask for extra) 😏
