To eat a whole bag of crisps

So the title really.
I've got the day off work and I've eaten a full bag of those £1 grab bag sharing packets of crisps. (I've had no breakfast or lunch) I was just nibbling while reading.
My partner however thinks it's shocking I can eat a whole bag.
Would you be able to eat a whole bag? Aibu?

YADNBU

I often buy two bags. One to open then put a dainty bag clip on for 'Sharing' and one all to my self!

FakePlasticTeaLeaves · 30/05/2017 13:47

SHOCKING! CRISPS! THE HORROR!

It's of course fine to treat yourself - you said it's rare. I would be able to eat a whole bag yes, love crisps.

Tinkerbec · 30/05/2017 13:48

I could eat three times that.
🙈

MorrisZapp · 30/05/2017 13:50

Ever been on holiday? Try eating 30g out of a sack of Lay's and leaving the rest.

lozzylizzy · 30/05/2017 13:52

I ate an entire sharing bag of vegetable crisps yesterday...they are calorifically worse than normal crisps!

ALemonyPea · 30/05/2017 13:53

Lolly, Costco had a tub of vegetable crisps for £4 yesterday, took a lot of serious will power not to buy them as they'd not last long in this house.

MrsJayy · 30/05/2017 13:54

Mmmm Lays 😁

Deathraystare · 30/05/2017 13:55

I am a crisp monster so absolutely NO judgement here!

Sionella · 30/05/2017 13:55

Windy - have you seen the extra thick ones? these bad boys:

www.thegrocer.co.uk/buying-and-supplying/categories/crisps-nuts-and-snacks/great-food-affairs-puts-slabs-thick-crisps-in-40g-bags/531515.article

the M&S/BP garages have them, that's where I got them. oh good lord. each one is like the palm of your hand and twice as thick and crunchy and tasty as the feeble walkers sharer bags!

MrsJayy · 30/05/2017 13:56

I love crisps I would rather eat crisps than cake

FakePlasticTeaLeaves · 30/05/2017 13:56

Now I obviously want crisps.

alltoomuchrightnow · 30/05/2017 13:57

I've had the extra thick salt and vinegar ones from Dobbies. (often get them reduced) Too addictive..thick enough to build a house with!

MusicToMyEars800 · 30/05/2017 13:57

Kettle chips sea salt and balsamic vinegar?

MrsJayy · 30/05/2017 13:58

Och now im craving lays Jamon im like a horse with my face in a bag of those

CowParsleyNettle · 30/05/2017 13:58

Not something I could personally do but I have just finished a King Size Pot Noodle so I'm in no place to judge 😂

MusicToMyEars800 · 30/05/2017 13:59

I do at least one share bag a week usually on a Saturday fuelled by drinking Wine Grin

TheHeraldOfAndraste · 30/05/2017 13:59

Ye gods! Guilt over a bag of crisps! Maybe I'd feel guilty if i had summoned a naked Michael Fassbender to feed me them whilst my DC went feral. But just a bag of crisps, nope. I cant get worked up over it. YANBU. Save feeling guilty for something genuinely worthy of guilt.

KatoPotato · 30/05/2017 13:59

Those ritz crackers crisps literally turn to dust in your mouth, so I say an entire bag is calorie free.

KurriKurri · 30/05/2017 13:59

Oh God - I need some of those slab ones !

Benedikte2 · 30/05/2017 14:01

Make into a proper snack by scrunching the crisps into a sandwich with plenty of butter! Cheese & onion go best. Was once, eons ago, told by Weigt watchers that a bag of crisps equal led a roast chicken dinner. Guess I'd rather have the dinner ( esp if I didn't have to cook it) but no idea if this info was correct or not.

Northgate · 30/05/2017 14:01

I could easily eat a bag of crisps bigger than that grab bag in one sitting.

That's why I don't buy sharing bags of crisps very often. They're one of my biggest weaknesses and something I could live on if I let myself.

amusedbush · 30/05/2017 14:01

I have no struggle polishing off one of the big sharing bags of chilli Doritos. I don't do it every day and I don't feel bad when I do!

noenergy · 30/05/2017 14:02

I skip meals all the time n then just eat crisps. I know I shouldn't but it's so easy just to grab a packet and when I'm watching tv I don't realise how many I've had.

IHaveBrilloHair · 30/05/2017 14:08

I have a cupboard just for crisps, I absolutely love them, there's currently around 30 packs in there, plus pork scratchings too.

user1491572121 · 30/05/2017 14:08

I can eat a 6 pack of walkers.

Not ashamed.
