Is OP pronounced OhPee or Awp?

In a debate with someone over this

DD- Daed
DS - Des
OH O-Ha
YABU - Ya-Boo
YANBU - Yan-Boo
WWYD- Wood- Yard.

3 different rules for me.

Oh pee. Dee dee. Dee ess. Oh aitch. Dee aitch. Dee pee. Just initials

But different rules with Eye boo, Yan boo where you say it as a word.

Longer abbreviations like WWYD or YADBU just have to be said as entire sentences 'You are definitely being unreasonable'.

I pronounce OP like the start of operation. I am actually gob smacked that people pronounce it Oh-pee.

It stands for original poster. There is no way it can be "op" like pop. It is O.P., pronounced oh pee.

I view OP as an acronym and pronounce it 'op' to rhyme with 'shop' and 'pop'
The others are abbreviations so e.g. DD is pronounced Dee Dee etc.

I also pronounce OP to rhyme with hop, shop and pop. Cannot fathom why anyone would think it's pronounced Awp!

And dd, dp, etc are deedee, deepee etc.

Aibu is eyeboo.
Yanbu is yanboo.

And doll does not rhyme with goal. That would be doal.

And YADBU is not yard boo. There is no R in the middle. It would have to be yad boo, if pronounced as words.

You may have just blown my mind there. It sounds ridiculous but I absolutely pronounce it that way! Especially when I say dolls house.

Huh? How on earth would it possibly be pronounced 'awp'?! It's oh pee, obviously. Those who say 'op' like the beginning of operation, do you also say 'odd' for O.D. or 'id' for I.D. or 'ewww' for the E.U.?

Actually Eolian, when I was a teen my best friend and I, did pronounce id as ID!

And when I say Op in my head, I also imagine it's some kind of cool title, like a spy code name or something. Like M in James Bond or Doc in Back to the Future.

I don't know why I do that, but I do.
