Ok so we have seven

House cat, house rabbit, canary, 2 gerbils and 2 fish.
Our house is more than big enough for them and their enclosures gives them plenty of space. First question, Aibu for having so many haha? And second how many do you have?
My name kinda says it all... Grin

BoogleMcGroogle · 21/05/2017 18:23

A daft cat and two rabbits who need about ten times more looking after than my children, but who are also cuter.

Soubriquet · 21/05/2017 18:23

1 dog
1 outdoor cat

HazelBite · 21/05/2017 18:25

2 cats ( one ginger tom and a tortie lady)
4 cockatiels
2 goldfish

babybythesea · 21/05/2017 18:25

1dog.
I guinea pig.
4 chickens.
12 songbirds which live in a aviary at the bottom of the garden.

e1y1 · 21/05/2017 18:25

Just 2 - 2 house Rabbits, which I adore.

You need another animal OP - another house Rabbit to go with the one you have Grin.

Llamacorn · 21/05/2017 18:26

3 here
Dog, Chocolate Labrador
Cat, Bengal/Egyptian mau
African Pygmy hedgehog

I love animals and would have more, but won't as dh is really not an animal person (took 10 years for him to agree to the dog!)

Mamabear14 · 21/05/2017 18:26

We have a working Labrador who lives indoors and is now more of a spoilt pet really, an elderly cat who I got from the blue cross about 9yrs ago and a crested gecko. There's also a tub of crickets that feed the gecko but they aren't pets!
I used to breed reptiles and had about 50 snakes and various lizards. Me and ex split and split them, I stopped breeding and kept my favourites. The last one died about 4 years ago and I said no more. Such hard work to keep that many clean all the time.

Mrskeats · 21/05/2017 18:27

Not nearly enough

Crunchymum · 21/05/2017 18:27

One cat.

More trouble than kids.

SingaSong12 · 21/05/2017 18:28

None - I'd love a cat but it isn't practical so I get my fix of cute pics from MN.

TwentyCups · 21/05/2017 18:30

None sadly as not allowed in the house, hardly any rentals round here that allow pets. I would really like a house rabbit or a cat though. I've had cats growing up and I really miss them (passed away bar one).

One day!

AragornsManlyStubble · 21/05/2017 18:31

2 house rabbits
1 cat
5 snakes
1 tarantula
1 gecko
1 hamster.
4 African land snails.

Would love more, but they take so much time.

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 21/05/2017 18:32

None at the moment as my dog died last year and my planned lifestyle isn't conducive to having pets for a while. But I'd love chickens again (I had 25 ex-bats at peak chicken) and also want to adopt as many guinea pigs as I can house (from this rescue). In an ideal world I'd have turkeys, horses, pigs, goats, dogs, rats, pigeons...well, pretty much everything that needs a home Smile Just need to find a few million in my bank account so I can buy a sanctuary and hire people to help me.

Costacoffeeplease · 21/05/2017 18:35

2 dogs
15 cats

FluffyTowers · 21/05/2017 18:37

2 cats, 2 rabbits & 8 Guinea pigs. Also had 2 bearded dragons and 2 hamsters until last year.

Guinea pigs are by far the hardest work - messy fuckers.

Bunbunbunny · 21/05/2017 18:39

One very much loved house rabbit, can't wait to move so we can buy him a friend!

EmmaC78 · 21/05/2017 18:43

2 cats, 1 horse and 1 pony. I am just about to move house so plan on acquiring another pony and some chickens.

ThomasRichard · 21/05/2017 18:43

5 stick insects. Demanding wee beasties, they are not really.

Chasingsquirrels · 21/05/2017 18:44

3 hens

Youvegotafriendinme · 21/05/2017 18:45

2 cats (one the size of a small dog!)
A tortoise
A large marine tank with around 12 fish
And a large pond with over 30 fish

user1495388403 · 21/05/2017 18:45
  1. I can't stand the smell of 'pet house' 😷

I don't mean just one or two, some people can't stop at that.

CoshPunt · 21/05/2017 18:46

2 dogs, 2 cats! Shock

Fireinthegrate · 21/05/2017 18:46

3 dogs (1 elderly, 1 age 4 and 1 puppy)
1 horse
4 bantams
2 hens
9 koi carp

rattieofcarcassone · 21/05/2017 18:47

6 rats, we've only ever had rats as we lived in a flat but we've just bought a house so we're considering getting a dog now Grin
