To really dislike downstairs loos?

Especially if they open onto the living room! I don't want anyone hearing me wee/ sort out pads/ pass wind etc. Asking to use the upstairs bathroom is basically announcing to everyone that you're going to do a poo. Argh!

The house I'm currently in has the bathroom downstairs and a small loo upstairs. Thankfully, it's opposite the stairs and not opening onto the living room but you probably could hear if you were listening. I agree, it's not nice

Its right outside our front room, however, I can't knock it as when DS had his accident and needed a wheelchair, it was a God Send! x But never seen one opening INTO the front room....x
