Bloody sick of it.

Come on HQ. Why not lock them, after a certain period, as suggested countless times before.

It's so annoying! Grrrr

OP posts:

It's because people don't RTFT and start answering the OP from 7 years ago or something.
Plus 9 times out of ten they are reanimated by trolls or spammers.

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 15/05/2017 18:38

And sometimes people do start to RTFT, then realise three pages in what the dates are.

Sparklingbrook · 15/05/2017 18:39

There's a good example running at the moment where everyone is trying to reply to an OP from many years ago about grey hair.

There seems to be an epidemic of them here and 'over there' lately. Got a gobful of abuse last week pointing out to a poster that she was discussing a topic with a poster who had left NM 5 years ago!

It wastes everyone's time and it's pointless when talking about someone's kid at nursery who is now at high school!

We need a proper picture of a zombie put at the end of old threads. Why on earth would the word zombie 'upset' newbies anyway that's pathetic.

I think you are right Navy.

And if someone is going to be upset by 'Zombie' then what will they do when someone shouts cunt.

Hassled · 15/05/2017 20:22

It's freaking the hell out of me - I keep seeing comments I made and thinking "When? How? Was I asleep? Where are my marbles?". Then I realise it was me 5 years ago. It's bad enough not knowing why I went upstairs, let alone thinking I'm unable to recall a post I just made.

T. rexing in the supermarket has been resurrected now.

Um well, that might be my fault. Somebody wanted to know who Sharon was.

UnbornMortificado · 15/05/2017 20:59

It upset me seeing an old post by a poster I miss.

How the fuck is a zombie thread message fucking upsetting?

Fucks sake.

Willow2017 · 15/05/2017 21:55

Maybe they should have a picture of a zombie and a 'grip' to hold?
