His little shirt

DH picked a shirt from my Next catalogue and I went to pick it up for him. He was at work. So I sent him a picture and said I'd picked up his little shirt (it was for a night out). His mate saw the message and laughed at him and later on sent him a photo of the shirt we was wearing for the night out and said "here is my little tattoo showing shirt".

DH says I've made him a laughing stock but the Dawn doctor often picks up clothes etc for her DH and he doesn't react like this.

A piece of clothing that is not as big as another is referred to as "smaller". For example, most shirts come in small, medium and large. Not little, medium and large.

In fact, I only clicked on this thread cos I wanted to know what the hell a "little shirt" was. I assumed it was something about a baby or toddler.

It might of been irrelevant until you mentioned Dawn doctor ,now we all want to know how this poor doctor got involved in a little shirt issue.

The dawn doctor often picks up clothes her for DH but never takes up the fly space. That's probably why Dean is taking the piss. You should have sent the text from the flight seat.

No it's not meant to be funny Hmm Dean (DHs mate) sent him a picture of his shirt saying it was HIS little shirt - obviously to take the piss. That's why DH has got a face on because it's my fault apparently, despite the fact that I was doing him a favour.
