Baby is 12 months. Usually sleeps from about 18.30 to 5.30 and that's her up for the day. She's still asleep, didn't wake during the night, should I wake her??

caffeineandcalpol · 14/05/2017 07:34

No, I don't even see why your asking

AnythingGoesWithMe · 14/05/2017 07:34

Have you been in and checked her? If she seems fine then i' d leave her to sleep

LaContessaDiPlump · 14/05/2017 07:34

No - let her sleep!! Are you mad?! Dhe clearly needs it or wouldn't be asleep!

Jealous as mine have been up since 5.30 for the past 6 years Grin

GiraffesAndButterflies · 14/05/2017 07:34

This is your pfb yes? Wink

Enjoy. 13 hours sleep in a row is to be celebrated not interrupted!

BrickInTheWall · 14/05/2017 07:34

No! Enjoy a lie in - Why are you awake?!
I've been up with mine since 6.. They usually sleep till 7 and I had a crap night sleep so I'm feeling knackered.

Abbottscat · 14/05/2017 07:34

No! Ours is the same and he just woke on his own, he obviously needed the sleep and we enjoyed the lie in!

PotteringAlong · 14/05/2017 07:34

Why would you?! Stay in bed!

divafever99 · 14/05/2017 07:35

No! Enjoy the peace! I am, dd is 20 months old, usually up in the night and awake at 5:30-6:00 am but didn't wake and is still asleep! So nice to wake up myself for a change!

MyOtherProfile · 14/05/2017 07:35

So long as baby is breathing and looks well no. I still remember the day our baby slept til 8.30 instead of 6.30. I felt a strange mix of elation and terror. Sadly it was an anomalie.

Littleelffriend · 14/05/2017 07:38

Yes she's fine on the video monitor. I've had 2 cups of tea, it's bliss.

Giraffes how did you guess??

Thanks all, will try to relax and enjoy.

You could have a shower and start painting your nails the baby is bound to wake when your half done.

mmgirish · 14/05/2017 07:43

Are you joking? Never do that. Enjoy it!

MummaGiles · 14/05/2017 07:46

She's probably just growing and conserving her energy. Enjoy the lie in! There's a tiny chance she might be sleeping because she's poorly with a cold or something though so be prepared for that. I remember DS slept until 9am the day we were due to travel to family for his first Christmas and he woke up with a horrid cold which stuck around for all of Christmas 😫 But it was pretty obvious as soon as he woke up because his nose was all green and gunked up.

highinthesky · 14/05/2017 07:53

Observe her to check her breathing, and then he on with the important business of tea and relaxation.

DesignedForLife · 14/05/2017 07:53

Enjoy! Brew

MrsPringles · 14/05/2017 07:54

Don't. Ever. Wake. Them!

Enjoy the peace and quiet Smile

Blinkyblink · 14/05/2017 07:55

Yep I would wake her, so then didn't affect nap times for rest of day.

GinIsIn · 14/05/2017 07:57

Not a chance I would wake that baby! DS is 11 weeks and last night slept 12-6:15 for the first time. Just enjoy it!!!

PetalMettle · 14/05/2017 07:58

Yabu for having a child that sleeps that well Grin
Seriously, as you've said she seems well, enjoy the peace!

Brittbugs80 · 14/05/2017 07:59

Leave her sleeping. Babies sleep because they need it.

Obviously check her breathing.

I understand though. I remember a 14 hour straight sleep from little one and I didn't have a clue if to wake or leave him!! I went in and out the room about 20 times, deliberating over it!
