..had an awful night and feel like shit today. Yesterday was somewhat emotionally charged. The young man I told you about, passed away peacefully. Didn't know him, but 26?? Awful. Anyway,

-t rained a bit but treated us to nice lunch and we avoided most of the rain whilst we were tucking into it 😊 Then went for huge yomp by the sea. Restorative, refreshing, recharging! And the sun came out for us!

.... am cleaning and painting as new bedroom furniture arrives on Thursday and I have 2 days to strip , sort walls and wallpaper/paint.

Been job hunting for daughter. They all ask why you left your last job. How the hell do we put , well I did 3 months in prison?

Might need to be rephrased slightly "detained at her majesty's pleasure"? Seriously thou lots of employers will do background / referencing checks so lying on app form won't get her anywhere either. If you think job is unlikely to reference check then you could just go for "redundant". She needs to def decide what to say in interviews though! Good luck!

...'ve just batch cooked a lovely chili (flamethrower!). So, later I'll be having chili with rice and (copious amounts of) grated cheese and crusty bread. A small amount for tomorrow with a baked potato. And the rest in freezer for 'as and when'.

Also...random Springwatch post from me but just had the most stunning Hummingbird Hawks Moth feeding in the garden, awesome, but by time had grabbed phone to take pic it had flown off. Gotta love a moth that looks like a hummingbird!!! 👍 💕🌺🐦🐝😊😊😊

-t was awesome I have to admit. Managed to get DD to see it before it disappeared. It does live up to its name and when hovering at a flower looks like a hummingbird. It was awesome seeing it use its proboscis to feed - rolling it out to drink nectar and then rolling it back again...
