DH has booked a few days in the Lake District for my birthday in June; we have had to ask for postal votes as we will be away for the election.

Then two weeks taking DS2 and his three kids to the Caribbean in late July; two week cruise on the Baltic to St Petersburg in the autumn for DH and me.

Then off to Brazil for Christmas with DS1 and his partner and baby for the Christening. We will stay with her family and then we are taking DS1 and his DP on a short Amazon cruise while other granny looks after the baby. Well, that is the plan, anyway.

Croatia towards end of Aug for 10 days, hopping from Dubrovnik, Mljet, Korcula and Split! (mix of staying with friends, Air BnB and hotels)
We were looking at Krakow for a few days in October, but DS has LOADS of trips this year with Scouts and he is skiing with school in January, Krakow will have to wait

Not sure where to go next year! I always get a few days in Dubrovnik - but for the longer holiday, not sure! Reading with interest.

Italian lakes in July / Aug. Can't wait!!!!

Same holiday as we did last year, we loved the apartment and area so much we booked to go back. Not too hot, fantastic scenery, great pool for the kids, can't wait to be once again sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake with a large glass of wine!!

I went to Barcelona this year, was amazing and I have the holiday blues now. Not getting another holiday this year as home improvements are happening. Should hopefully be booking two holidays next year, thinking Cyprus and Portugal.

Can anyone recommend good sites for holidays? Also, good places to rent a cottage/holiday home with a hot tub?

Great thread. We went to Fuertaventura in the half term In February. In March I went to Tenerife for a long weekend with a friend.

Long weekend in our camper (just me and DH) planned for the bank holiday weekend at the end of this month. Thinking of going to a campsite in the Cotswolds.

First week of the summer holidays, we (DH, me and DD) are going to Ireland to see family and friends, and towards the end of the summer holidays we are going to Lake Garda in Italy.
Can't wait for all of it.. Smile
