Why don't crumpets come in an 8 pack?

Six is just daft. Four crumpets is a sensible serving. But then you're left with two stragglers.

Is it a ploy to make us buy two packs? I think it's well shifty.

I think 6 is the right number. One each for the kids, two each for DH and I. Controversial subject this Grin

2 crumpets, real butter and cheese.

2 crumpets, fried egg "over easy" on top. Yum.

2 crumpets with just real butter.

Warburton crumpets are dry.

I like the square ones with butter and marmite. And I like them softer not overly toasted. (Dh doesn't agree)

Madhairday · 11/05/2017 08:51

I once had crumpets in a cafe and they put margarine on them Hmm it was a travesty and I refused to eat them. No one else had ever mentioned it, apparently.

Now crumpets with butter AND nutella - now that is the food of the gods.

4 at once though - how can you manage that? 2 really fill me up. We often have them for Sunday tea time.

Holy moly, 4 crumpets for one serving? You're my new hero!

Redpony1 · 11/05/2017 13:16

I have Flora Light on them, I despise butter on anything!!

amusedbush · 11/05/2017 13:38

I have Flora Light on them

Flora itself is spreadable plastic - I can't imagine what a LIGHT version would be like Shock

Ginger782 · 11/05/2017 13:43

Redpony1 Envy - not envy. No one is envious of someone who prefers Flora Light to real butter.
