Pics on news of football fans (Blackburn? Blackpool? Something like that) crying because their team has gone down from Division 2 to Division 3.

I mean seriously. AIBU to want to tell them all to get a fecking life?

Nope no-one directly connected to me, thank goodness, but behaviour I've observed over the years

Lala241280 · 11/05/2017 16:28

Costa
You have upset a lot of people on here
Quite happy to put your opinion out but your reasons are pathetic

Costacoffeeplease · 11/05/2017 16:31

You know, I really don't care what childish insults you want to throw at me, this is my experience, past and present, it may not be palatable to everyone here, meh

Lala241280 · 11/05/2017 16:34

Everyone does have their own opinion but it's the fact you are prepared to accept others
God forbid you feel passionate about anything and someone disagrees with you 😱

JacquesHammer · 11/05/2017 16:35

Costa it's not that it's not palatable. It's your sheer unwillingness to allow other adults to have their own feelings about things without sneering.

The reasons you listed to dislike football are outdated and stereotypical at best.

But maybe that's not palatable to you?

Costacoffeeplease · 11/05/2017 16:58

I've already said, I don't care, those are my experiences past and PRESENT (and from fairly close to the running of a lower league team) which have formed my opinions

I see some parts of my posts have been picked out and others ignored, so I will hide this thread now, given other posters are picking and choosing what to argue with

Lala241280 · 11/05/2017 17:00

Omg Costa you are doing yourself no favours

JacquesHammer · 11/05/2017 17:01

Yes costa like the parts of my post referring to football tragedies but hey: what's good for the goose?

Sparklingbrook · 11/05/2017 17:14

I think Costa hiding the thread is for the best.

DeleteOrDecay · 11/05/2017 17:14

Please do Costa, you'd be doing everyone else a favour.

ladymariner · 11/05/2017 20:49

Yep, off you go Costa you've not exactly brought anything worthwhile to the thread.

Thinking of the 56 victims of the Bradford fire disaster, 32 years ago today x

ilovesooty · 11/05/2017 21:01

I have a friend who was at Valley Parade during the fire. Thinking of all the families affected today.

JacquesHammer · 11/05/2017 21:15

Thank you sooty and lady always a difficult day here

Staypuff · 11/05/2017 21:55

I wouldn't, I bet there's something that makes you teary that others would roll eyes at.

Football doesn't interest me. I can't imagine shedding any emotion over it however my dad sister and dh would likewise say the same when my favourite tb show was cancelled.
