Seriously, is there ^anyone^ on MN who does not want Labour to win on June 8?

Come out, come out wherever you are!
I know it will mean you will be attacked and preached at, you will be told you are rich, uncaring and hate everyone except yourself, but will anyone stand with me and admit to planning on voting Conservative on June 8?
I can't be the only one surely? I didn't vote the Conservatives in by myself in 2015!

This thread is horrific.

Smug Tories - feeling brilliant about the destruction of state education and the NHS. I have no words for you people.

Everyone else - a divided vote, no chance of representation under the FPTP system.

The UK is fucked.

janesmom · 06/05/2017 22:07

Does anyone with a credible education believe the whole "blame tories for nhs" nonsense?

We are spending more than we can raise as a country. Labour want to continue doing so. Does anyone remember where else did that? Greece?

Greek healthcare is a whole lot worse than the nhs right now. Bankruptcy does that to a country. Only we haven't got the eu to bail us out...

YokoReturns · 06/05/2017 22:10

janesmum I think Labour would claim that they'd raise the NHS money by scrapping Trident.

janesmom · 06/05/2017 22:13

Possibly, Yoko.

However, that only works if Diane Abbott is doing the maths.

SorryToDisturbYou · 06/05/2017 22:14

No, it was a genuine question, derxa, i assumed most agricultural stuff was EU standardised - CAP and all?

What does a UK gov't do that makes a difference? Or what should they do?

YokoReturns · 06/05/2017 22:15

It's a shame that all this anti-Tory sentiment doesn't translate into an anti-Tory government Sad

jarhead123 · 06/05/2017 22:15

I won't be voting labour!

ClarkWGriswold · 06/05/2017 22:18

I'm standing in solidarity with you OP. I will be voting Conservative

RortyCrankle · 06/05/2017 22:21

Haven't read the thread but know that the vast majority will be the usual bullshit spouted by left wingers about the Conservative party and I am seriously not interested.

As a Conservative voter of course I don't want Labour to win and the very idea that there's even a 0.1% chance of them winning is risible.

ConstantCraving · 06/05/2017 22:21

Its not really about the cost of the NHS though is it janesMom - it's about wanting to privatise it. Taxes should be spent on priorities like the NHS and social care - which benefits the masses. I'd be happy to pay more if I knew it wasn't being squandered on free schools or Trident. Or we could properly tax those who still aren't paying their share (google / amazon etc).

bibbitybobbityyhat · 06/05/2017 22:22

Such a stupid fucking goady thread and thread title.

I'm amazed even the out and proud Tories want to have anything to do with it.

You make yourself look immeasurably dim and twattish in my eyes OP. Surely everyone knows Mumsnet is positively overrun with right wingers at the moment.

ConstantCraving · 06/05/2017 22:24

I'm off to bed but before I go I'll leave you with: 'strong and stable' - which is the new 'difficult choices'.
And I still can't forget 'strivers vs scivers' - divisive bastards. You really buy that shit?

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 06/05/2017 22:29

I was considering voting libdem at the next election. But it's come too early for that now. As a leaver, I need to vote Conservative.

PlayOnWurtz · 06/05/2017 22:31

Working poor and disabled. Voting tory.

tovelitime · 06/05/2017 22:32

CORBYN & Abbott, the dream team. If they win we are screwed.

No idea who I'm voting for but not for incompetent CORBYN and his anti-Semitic followers

Assamteaformeplease · 06/05/2017 22:32

Definitely not voting Tory ... they're demolishing the NHS

newmumwithquestions · 06/05/2017 22:39

Please please consider the NHS in your thoughts those of you who are floating. Privatisation would be nigh on impossible to undo.

user1493759849 · 06/05/2017 22:40

I would rather THESE 2 run the country than Abbott and Corbyn.

Seriously, is there ^anyone^ on MN who does not want Labour to win on June 8?
Frillyhorseyknickers · 06/05/2017 22:50

sorrytodisturbyou

Agriculture in this country is facing a very uncertain few years amidst Brexit and the current Tory policy is well advised on the concerns of the industry - which none of the opposition parties are.
We need a comprehensive review of current EU legislation on Brexit to ensure we're not nailed into onerous and often limiting regulation when we are competing with a global market who are not nailed to the same EU regs.

We have high welfare standards in the EU which we must carry forwards, but for example some of the chemistry restrictions were set in a time where we didn't have the technology and understanding which we have today.

We are coming out of the CAP which has been the centre of the industry for a considerable amount of time - we need reassurance that the concerns are taken on board. We need someone who understands the delicate balance with a short and fair supply chain because we have commodities with a short shelf life to bargain with. Andrea Leadsom does a fantastic job in her role and JC's proposed opposite was an absolute joke. The rural electorate represents a large part of the vote so why can no other party take us seriously?

TinselTwins · 06/05/2017 22:53

Please please consider the NHS in your thoughts those of you who are floating.
I am, which is why I won't be touching labour with a barge pole!

reuset · 06/05/2017 22:54

The comments on this thread about people with disabilities 'swinging the lead' say it all.
I'll say. And people with these intelligent opinions make up part of the electorate. Worrying!

FelixtheMouse · 06/05/2017 22:59

privatisation would be high on impossible to undo What exactly does privatisation actually mean in this context? And I doubt if anything is impossible to undo given the political will and a healthy majority.

notangelinajolie · 06/05/2017 23:01

I voted Brexit but hell would have to freeze over before I ever voted Conservative. I will be voting Labour as always but my vote is not intended for any of those back stabbing Labour MPs who are determined to destroy the Labour Party - it will be for one of the few genuine, decent, honourable men left - Jeremy Corbyn. I have always voted for policy not person in a GA but this time its both.

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 06/05/2017 23:05

Jeremy Corbyn is a joke as a leader, he is a mundane backbencher and as for his shadow cabinet of no talent, thank goodness there is no chance of them being in power.

ohgoshIdontknow · 06/05/2017 23:09

Agree with PP who said Corbyn's a misogynistic anti-Semite.

Voting Tory and happy to tell people this.
