Smart shoes, smart fitted trousers, shirt and v neck jumper. It's just yummy. 😍

I'm with Tinkly

Can't see the appeal of the blue trousers / brown shoes combo, burgundy jumpers remind me of school uniform and the skinny trousers don't work for everyone ...

FoofFighter · 25/04/2017 16:12

Can I add in, "man wearing a baby"......

To think this is the absolute hottest outfit a guy can wear
JellyWitch · 25/04/2017 16:13

Hell no!

Fintress · 25/04/2017 16:14

It's pretty much how my husband goes to work everyday, not those colours though. I hate burgundy.

SoloDance · 25/04/2017 16:16

A V necked jumper? Just no.

Krimbler · 25/04/2017 16:17

Oh that man wearing baby is so Zoolander!

'babies are like the hot accessory right now, total like, chick magnets. Go buy a baby'.

AlpacaPicnic · 25/04/2017 16:20

Nah, he looks like a stiff wind would blow him over.
I used to like a 'grease monkey' look, like a pp husband was described as dirty vest and bulging muscles... although I think I need to see a picture to be sure...
But I was walking through Canary Wharf last year and this god of a man walked towards me - cityboy clothes, crisp white shirt but he was the spitting image of Idris Elba and the shirt was rolled up at the sleeves displaying bulging arm muscles... ooh I came over all unnecessary!

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 25/04/2017 16:23

'Why? My DH has brown desert boots and brown Ted Baker shoes (his wedding shoes, actually) and they look gorgeous.'

Brown shoes remind me of my old geography teacher who bore a very strong resemblance to Michael Foot. Thinking about it, he also wore a duffel coat.

EndoplasmicReticulum · 25/04/2017 16:24

In answer to the "why not brown shoes?" I'll just leave this here.

Admittedly you can't see all of their feet, but George Osborne has definitely got brown shoes halfway down.

It's "politician off duty" dressing.

Haha fair enough! I'm still part of a bridal facebook group that I joined in the run up to my wedding last year and a massive percentage of the grooms are wearing blue suits with brown shoes (as did my DH). I think they look much nicer than black formal shoes.

amusedbush · 25/04/2017 16:26

EndoplasmicReticulum

Okay, yes, that's unfortunate but blue just looks so much better with brown than any other colour of shoe!

Bluntness100 · 25/04/2017 16:31

I'm in the expensive suit and open neck shirt camp, although if my daughter came home with the guy in that first pic I'd think it was fine. Well dressed, clean cut kind of thing, Just not for me. I don't think the outfit is particularly hot on any man.

Daniel Craig however can wear what he wants, 😜

Guitargirl · 25/04/2017 16:32

Too Home Counties Tory-boy for my taste.

Orlandointhewilderness · 25/04/2017 16:33

Well fitting jeans especially around bum, fairly rugged boots and a rugby shirt with sleeves rolled up. Yum. My DP is completely hot stuff in it. Or overalls!

Applebite · 25/04/2017 16:34

Noooooo!

Daniel Craig in casino royale - open becked tuxedo which gets soaking wet in the shower. Fuck yes.

Also when he flies to Haiti and wears a dark blue polo shirt and chinos.

Those two outfits.... schwing!

Krimbler · 25/04/2017 16:36

schwing!

Haven't heard that since the 90s!

WateryTart · 25/04/2017 16:40

Now this is a hot outfit -

DoorwayToNorway · 25/04/2017 16:40

I like either really rough or a proper suit look. Skinny trousers/jeans on men are not appealing. I like my DH's work clothes, his old job of a nice shirt, suit trousers and a tie and his current job as a south American cattle rancher, 4 o clock shadow, dirty and with a tan and cowboy hat. Both very sexy.
In that jumper and skinny trousers he'd look a right noblit.
The baby wearing look doesn't do it for me either, I just see baby and think "oh god no not those days again" rather than phwoor. Grin

XiCi · 25/04/2017 16:49

I think a man dressed as in the OP is likely to be as boring as his clothes.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 25/04/2017 16:49

Gummybear1989

I was the same. It was an office of high earners most had lovely tailored suits a few extra stylish Italines to add to the mix then they introduced casual Friday

Oh dear it all went very wrong then red corduroys with yellow jumpers, badly fitted jeans, awful shoes, the next look, the topman teenager look and even jeans with a crease ironed down the front

A uniform does nothing for me but a well tailored suit with nice shoes makes the most ordinary man look very attractive

XiCi · 25/04/2017 16:50

South American cattle rancher? You lucky girl doorway to Norway Grin

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 25/04/2017 16:50

Italian's ....

Not Italines - I am sure they are very nice but have no idea how stylish and they are Blush

skerrywind · 25/04/2017 16:51

waterytart- I am with you there!

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 25/04/2017 16:55

A fit, naturally muscley man in a fitted long sleeved dry-flow top or T-shirt, black combat trousers and boots is more up my street.

StarsAndStripes18 · 25/04/2017 17:30

That 'man wearing baby' is hot!!

I really, really like a man in army combats Blush total swoon.. Totally does it for me!!
