Really, why?
Just because he's a bit different in his presentation. He in principled and compassionate, I for one wish he would become the PM.

When I tell my psychiatrist I am prime minister they up my meds.

You are not allowed to be a tory prime minister unless you are an Eton boy,

Ergot she is a fungus.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 19/04/2017 18:38

Not all Tory PM's have come from such privileged backgrounds

Major, May and Thatcher didn't

Livelovebehappy · 19/04/2017 18:41

Crikey Smashyourglasses; you have issues. You've come on here and in three posts have managed to insult older people, insult people with mental health problems, and implied if you aren't easy on the eye you have no place in politics, all this while displaying lots of aggressive behaviour. You really do need to chill.

BillyBob22 · 19/04/2017 18:41

Agree

BillyBob22 · 19/04/2017 18:42

Btw i am in the Labour party

smashyourglasses · 19/04/2017 18:49

No Live, that's not what actually happened, is it :) i stated the glaringly obvious about theresa may only.
Deflecting your own personal issues onto another anonymous poster is not really done anymore fyi. Cheers ❤😊

NoLotteryWinYet · 19/04/2017 18:53

Yes May is so crumple faced and hag like, that's why she's going to knock out another 70 labour MPs - you're so right, she's a failure, not JC, I've seen the light!

ghostyslovesheets · 19/04/2017 18:53

very representative of the people who blindly follow JC without bothering to engage in the issues - don't get the finer political arguments but do know how to behave like a GF online

NoLotteryWinYet · 19/04/2017 18:54

Yes I've been told so many times that traitors in the Labour Party like me are the reason JC is not winning in the polls. Nothing to with his fundamental extremist lunacy then, yes it's the people that voted for labour when it could win elections that are the problem!

NoLotteryWinYet · 19/04/2017 18:55

And two legs are better than four...

ghostyslovesheets · 19/04/2017 18:57

poor Boxer :(

travellinglighter · 19/04/2017 19:30

Because lovely is what we need in a leader. Effective leadership is over rated. ( does my sarcasm show??)

toconclude · 19/04/2017 19:35

" intelligent people vote labour, thicko's vote tory."

Really? Must mention your ungrammatical theory to my DH and in-laws, all of whom won scholarships to Oxford and all of whom are Tory party members.

I'm not one, never was, but that is a truly stupid thing to say. One can be very clever and wrong. Simple.

EnjoyYourVegetables · 19/04/2017 19:57

On the one hand I have admired Corbyn's tireless work on behalf of the Chagos Islanders.

On the other the idea of him running this country makes me think: Venezuela!

ForalltheSaints · 19/04/2017 20:07

Today he voted along with his party to trigger the election. He could have insisted on conditions, such as a tv debate, or even that some of the Brexit bill be amended.

TheLuminaries · 19/04/2017 20:10

JC has consistently voted with the government when it matters - I sometimes wonder if he is a Tory sleeper who has played the long game, it is the only thing that could explain it.

BillSykesDog · 19/04/2017 20:15

He could have insisted on conditions, such as.....some of the Brexit bill be amended.

Hahahaha. As if they would amend the Brexit bill just for a hugely weak Labour with no bargaining power. It was immaterial anyway because the government would just have had a vote of no confidence in itself instead. They have a majority so could force one that way anyway.

EnjoyYourVegetables · 19/04/2017 20:19

Deep Tory Sleeper is a possibility.

BMW6 · 19/04/2017 21:15

Are scaryclown and smashyourglasses representative of new Labour momentum members? Shock

if so I can understand why so many Labour members are leaving the Party or considering not voting Labour this time.

daffodilbaby · 19/04/2017 21:56

As another lifelong labour voter I will not be voting labour in this election. As others have said seems to be power hungry - he can't lead his own party and refuses to stand down despite all the evidence the party will effectively be wiped out under his leadership. It's all well and good opposing nuclear - but if he or his advisors are trawling this thread (I'm looking at you scary clown!) looking for ideas - what I actually care about are disability cuts, schools having to provide hot meals out of term ime when their parents can't afford to feed them, visible rising homelessness; the NHS cuts, the list is endless. The Torres are fucking yo this country and we need a decent labour leader to take them on. As for those of you waffling on about 'media smear' suck it up buttercup - it's part of the job- if Jc can't influence them, he's no use at all!

scaryclown · 19/04/2017 22:04

You arse, then you are voting Tory, unless you are in one of those oddity constituencies where a party unable to gain power is preferred.

Why can't people just understand maths? The only outcome of a first past the post system is two main parties, the only logical thing to do to get out the party you hate the most is to vote for the other one.

If you don't vote labour, labour won't go 'oooh daffodilbaby' hasn't voted, so we better sharpen up, and if a lot of people act stupidly like you do, we'll have more tory mania until more people understand maths.

Sheesh.

scaryclown · 19/04/2017 22:05

I think Corbyn has already mentioned the hot meals has he not?

EmilyByTheRiver · 19/04/2017 22:07

scary do you think you are going to win support by being abusive?

littlehandcuffs · 19/04/2017 22:12

My mother stood as a labour candidate and believed that they were honest and stood up for the poor.
They are now an Anti-Semitic, lost party who are ashamed of their core voters.
We are not voting for Jeremy, we are voting in his extremist friends.
I will vote anything but Labour.

scaryclown · 19/04/2017 22:22

sorry Emily, I'm not a fawning collegiate kind of person. My view is that when people are being idiots they need waking up, not pandered to. I'm not seeking them to vote for me because I'm nice and make them feel wonderful even if they are being stupid. That's a politicians job.

I'm trying to make them realise that they need to think more. I don't care if they hate me because I've done so..

so there lol Grin
