Just that really. If you had an unlimited budget, which property would you want?

They are fabulous - we saw the first driving by and loved it, but sadly well over our budget.

What if you want something smaller though ? Bijou, but not cutesy, a bit of land, and a fabulous view - definitely not in London or suburbs. I've had a big house - pain to keep clean and heated - I would just love to find something that feels homely but not cluttered :)

Bijou enough?

Catching up on these this morning. Some fantastic views - the Ambleside one that LuluJakey posted, and the Stirlingshire castle, and overthehill's bijou residence, a mere snip at just under £1.5m.

This might be fun - and some celeb neighbours apparently (not that I would recognise them).

Whatsthecoming - gorgeous - but not sure if the divorce settlement would pay for that - as I'd have to be, before I'd get the OH to live in Cumbria (his bad taste, not mine) - but oh those views !
