Just that really. If you had an unlimited budget, which property would you want?

Today I like this one: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-58856248.html

I would need to change some of the wallpaper though so it isn't perfect.

I loved your house, OP, but it was missing a certain something for me - namely a swimming pool and a lake. And I'll have this one for my town pad

Dowser · 17/04/2017 10:47

You'll be surprised at mine

I've seriously considered buying it...I just can't face the 6 hour drive down to it!

Dowser · 17/04/2017 10:58

However if I had to move I'd like to give this one a go especially as it has a little business with it

highfruit · 17/04/2017 10:58

I wouldn't want to move too far away so this is my dream property in my local area - Brewery Square, Clerkenwell

www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-40910328.html

But this one is really gorgeous although in reality I wouldn't really want to live so far out of town - St Ann's Court, Surrey

Dowser · 17/04/2017 11:10

That clerkenwell one is lovely.
I love white decor.
( like mine....although mine is not styled like that.)

Bluntness100 · 17/04/2017 11:27

This is gorgeous and I love its in front of water..

How about this one for you OP?

This is the worst thread to stumble upon when you're currently house hunting! I must remember to put the lottery on this weekend,

DH has just been informed that I now require a pool. Although not sure where it will go in any of the 3 bed semi's for less than £170000 we've been looking at!

user1471558436 · 17/04/2017 22:37

All these houses are so big!

Katkincake · 17/04/2017 22:52

This thread has inspired me to browse near me, this amazing (almost like something from a film set) house is near me. Grass needs a bit of a mow. Grin

Emmageddon · 17/04/2017 22:52

This is mine, tiny, gorgeous, a mere half a million - but hanging over the house is a bit of the Great Orme that looks like it might fall off and destroy the house and anyone in it.

Emmageddon · 17/04/2017 22:58

@Katkincake wtf does this refer to? A murder?!

"We have been advised of the following:

  • A previous occupier has died at the property. Please contact the office to discuss this further."
Crunchymum · 17/04/2017 22:59

billy did you get your links mixed up?;

Katkincake · 17/04/2017 22:59

OMG never saw that. Thought it looked a bit like it had just been abandoned. Will do some research! Shock

Katkincake · 17/04/2017 23:03

Emmageddon -it has some history!! www.google.co.uk/amp/www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/14125971.amp

Emmageddon · 17/04/2017 23:04

@Katkincake I Googled and it was a suicide. Bet the place is haunted!!

Emmageddon · 17/04/2017 23:05

X post. I'm withdrawing my offer now...

ZilphasHatpin · 17/04/2017 23:09

Christ there are some mind blowing properties in this country! Do normal families live in those massive mansions? Or are they unoccupied?

katincake I would love to see your one with the gardens properly restored.

Katkincake · 17/04/2017 23:10

Yes. I think I'll give it a miss (it's not the best of areas anyway!) Grin

ZilphasHatpin · 17/04/2017 23:11

X post. I'm withdrawing my offer now.

I spent far too much some time browsing my local area last night and I have fallen in love with a not too pricey Edwardian country house. I have entirely redecorated it in my head Blush

PickAChew · 17/04/2017 23:15

Nothing in my chosen location that's really stunning, but this isn't far away and I'd move there in a heartbeat
www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-64150253.html

With a genuinely unlimited budget, I'd love to take this on. I'd still get transport to DS2's secondary school, too :o
www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-64818371.html

This is my £100K down the back of the sofa property. It's so sweet
www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65740448.html

Or maybe this one, bearing in mind that the railings are needed to stop cars from crashing into it
www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-60598511.html

hmcAsWas · 17/04/2017 23:21

The suicide house is a massive bargain though - if you can get past that

PickAChew · 17/04/2017 23:25

I love yours, Emmageddon!

Emmageddon · 17/04/2017 23:27

@PickAChew it's lovely isn't it? And no one's leapt to their death from the turret - as far as I know...

PickAChew · 17/04/2017 23:28

I want to walk around it, touching the walls.
