I don't give a crap about outing oneself right now. Usually we do the hunt but I've ruined said hunt. I have s bag of (Sainsbury's) eggs here for tomorrow. How do I save this. And flame away I don't care

FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:32

Right.

What? Start at the beginning...

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:34

Right usually we do a hunt for kids

I have ruined it by buying the wrong eggs so no hunt

How do I present eggs to kids
I've been left alone to sort this

Ya know cos it's my fault Hmm

OP posts:
MrsHenryWales · 16/04/2017 01:36

How are they the wrong sort?

SheRaaarghPrincessOfPower · 16/04/2017 01:36
Confused
FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:36

Why are your eggs wrong?
Are they chocolate?

If so then you have NOT ruined the hunt, you're merely being spoken to by an idiot.

ShamefulDodger · 16/04/2017 01:37

How are they wrong?

Because if they are chocolate I really don't think children care which shop you bought them from?

PandaSays · 16/04/2017 01:39

In what way did they say they are wrong? If it's chocolate and egg shaped just crack on with it! Even if it's not eff shaped if it's chocolate the kids won't care!

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:39

Yep they are chocolate and I know they are not wrong but it is a joint thing. So now I'm just doing it for mine. How???

OP posts:
PerspicaciaTick · 16/04/2017 01:39

Tell us eggsactly what eggs you do have and then we can help you come up with some cunning ideas for distributing them.

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:40

Think generic vs big company

My generic don't fit

All I want is happy kids

OP posts:
PerspicaciaTick · 16/04/2017 01:41

x-post.

Still not understanding what the problem is. You have children who want eggs. You have eggs. You are 99% of the way there.

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:43

Yep I am if I was alone with children and eggs. Other children here with Cadbury and we can't join in because we don't have Cadbury( whole different issue) I just want to give my kids my eggs and there be no complaints

OP posts:
ShamefulDodger · 16/04/2017 01:43

All the happy kids want is to eat the chocolate.

Step 1: Throw Sainsbury's eggs in to the garden.

Step 2: Shout ' EGGHUNT, eat all the chocolate you can find.

Step 3: Sit down with a cuppa. Your work is done.

FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:44

Right- your mate/partner/family expected you to buy certain expensive eggs and you've bought probably identical cheaper ones and they've thrown their rattle out the pram and now you're having to sort your own hunt? Warm?

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:44

Wish it was that easy Wink I'd be happy with that

OP posts:
FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:44

Cross posted sorry.

Are the other kids in your home?

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:45

They are in the same home

OP posts:
ShamefulDodger · 16/04/2017 01:45

It is that easy. Works here every year. Even with teenage dsd Grin

FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:45

So who has bought the other eggs then? DP?

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:46

It's tempting Grin

OP posts:
melj1213 · 16/04/2017 01:46
  1. Use your eggs for the hunt anyway bc you haven't actually given a reason why you can't use them, except that they don't "fit" (fit what exactly?!)

  2. Screw the hunt and just give your kids the lot of them so they can get the sugar hit in one go

FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:46

In fact it doesn't matter who bought what sorry.
Have you got any coloured paper?

BeingACuntItsABingThing · 16/04/2017 01:47

Me and my mum, my brothers are close in age to my eldest

OP posts:
FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 01:48

Oh ignore her!
Make labels for your eggs, or a clue on a post it so they work out who the egg is meant to be for?

LilQueenie · 16/04/2017 01:49

are you saying the kids will look down on other kids because they dont have brand name chocolate eggs?
