nuclear attack on britain- how likely

Posting this in AIBU for traffic.
With all the current unrest in the world, I've found myself obsessing today about the possibility of Britain being attacked.
Now, I suffer from depression and anxiety that is controlled by ADs. My husband has serious health issues, undergoing chemo atm and I'm naturally worried about the outcome. Till today, I've been coping with my feelings and emotions well. But today, seemingly out of the blue I'm haunted by the fear of a nuclear attack, can't seem to shake off the feelings of dread and fear.
I know in my head the reality is remote, but I suppose what I need to hear is that that is right.
Can anybody reassure me? Please help.

Given the recent chemical attack I'm far more worried about that. A nuclear attack would just wipe us all out hopefully but a chemical bomb would be just horrific & right up Isis street Sad

Life's one big worry lately, all the trouble in the world, none of it our fault. I know there's nothing we can do but how do you stop worrying.

I have been so worried about this :( and also my older children are at an age where they see things in the news and worry and tbh I haven't known what to say to them

anyway....I have tentatively read the first few pages and I am glad that (so far) some of you are saying its unikely. So am place marking and going to come back later and read some more.

I think it's the North Koreans who should be most scared.
I don't think Russia would take their side if it really came down to it.
I don't know maybe I'm being naive?

I think it's the South Koreans who should be the most scared. NK would not hesitate to reduce Seoul to rubble.

Followed closely by the innocent people of North Korea. Hopefully any retaliation would be highly targeted but I imagine civilian casualties would be very high. :(

I think the South Koreans have a lot of support though, a lot of troops are protecting them right now.

No point worrying about something you can't control.
