Middle aged male visitor is sitting there right now, with DH in the kitchen. His DD I think has a pack of the things (I hate them anyway but kids I can forgive)

And he's sucking one.

He's making little "Shlep" noises when he takes it out again.

I'm so grossed out right now. This is a big grown man of 47.

YANBU about anyone of any age making slurpy noises when they eat.

As for what they eat - YABUU.

I prefer lollipops to ordinary sweets b cause I can take my time over them and take them out if they're too sweet for me. I like ice-cream cornets and ice-lollies, too.

As I'm the far side of 50, I'm clearly in my second childhood!

Indeed. And I'm proud to say I've managed it successfully!

I had an ice lolly last night and thought of this thread. I admit that I did do a bit of slurpy licking just because I could.
And I always try and eat jam donuts without licking my lips. I often manage it. And now I want one....

My husband loves his lollies.

I love a dippy egg with soldiers.

I'm going to take a couple of lollipops into the cinema next time I go, to suck on once I've finished annoying the killjoys with my popcorn.
