Adults sucking lollypops....

AIBU?

Middle aged male visitor is sitting there right now, with DH in the kitchen. His DD I think has a pack of the things (I hate them anyway but kids I can forgive)

And he's sucking one.

He's making little "Shlep" noises when he takes it out again.

I'm so grossed out right now. This is a big grown man of 47.

I sort of know what you mean OP. I feel a bit funny if the kids have an ice cream and dh wants one too! I am in no way the food police and am very piggish myself so not sure why.

And egg cups? Why am I not allowed an egg in an egg cup? I don't want to fuck about peeling a hot soft-boiled egg, I just want to eat it.

I love boiled eggs and soldiers, ice cream, AND lollipops and if anyone commented on me eating them, I'd tell them to fuck right off. It's got sod all to do with anyone.

Although I disagree, I can sort of see why people might think lollipops childish. Ice cream comes, though? WTAF? And soft boiled eggs in an egg cup?
Some people must have very dull lives conforming to a load of unnecessary 'rules' about adult behaviour. Go in, go wild a little!

I love coco pops. Morrisons Own are just about the only good gluten free cereal I've found.

Chupa chups cola lollipops helped me to get through uni lectures with morning sickness, I will never judge anyone eating a lollipop, I usually assume they're trying not to be sick Grin
