AIBU to ask is there proof of Angels?

I saw the lady on This Morning who believes with out doubt in Angels and I couldn't get over how serene and calm she was. I was discussing it at school gates this afternoon and one mum said despite the proof of their existence she felt it was gullible to believe.

I'd like to do some more reading and want to ask is there any proof?

There is no "proof" of ghosts but i lived with one once! I am not a believer but have an open mind

You didn't, but if you think you did, you are by definition a believer.

I'd like to believe. I'd like to think that, every time a white feather drifts down when I'm feeling depressed, my guardian angel is behind me, or when things unexpectedly go right, my dear dad is looking out for me from the Other Side.
Unfortunately, I know it's just chance. Luck. Co incidence. I wish it wasn't, but...

Your need = your need.

Stuff existing/not existing = an independent matter.

The two are separate.
