Exercise for grown ups is so BORING Grin

I'd play in soft play like a flash!

I figure trampoline parks are like adult soft play. I am yet to visit our local one but very much looking forward to the chance!

OddJobMan · 03/04/2017 14:54

There is in some places.

The local Monkey Puzzle play area near me opens it up for adults on weekend nights.

Thatextrainch · 03/04/2017 14:55

Slightly worried about sending other trampolines spiralling into space with my mass Blush

I'm nowhere near London but am pleased someone has recognised this is a Thing!

There is one in Portsmouth

Meekonsandwich · 03/04/2017 14:57

There are! Lots of cities have soft play for adults within bars, there's trampoline places,

Amusement Parks are parks for adults :D

What about those go ape parks? Tree top experiences? They have zip wires and all sorts of snazzy things to play on :D

HarrietSchulenberg · 03/04/2017 14:57

My local park has adult exercise equipment which is ace fun.
I know of a playbarn place in North Wales that is open for adults after 9pm.

amusedbush · 03/04/2017 14:58

I read something about an adult soft play/ball pit recently.

Sodomeyes · 03/04/2017 14:59

Are you in the North East?

Meekonsandwich · 03/04/2017 15:00

If exercise is boring you're doing it wrong ;)

Have you tried the zombie running apps? You run and play a game at the same time?

Zumba? Ballet? Water polo? Scuba diving? I have my licence and it was a weekly class In a local pool! So much fun :D
Basket ball? Football? It's as fun as you make it _

PutThatPomBearBack · 03/04/2017 15:05

Are you in the south west? We have woodlands and creley (?) which have massive indoor play areas, water slides etc. I went for my birthday last yearGrin

blackteasplease · 03/04/2017 15:11

Just had to be really careful how I googled that...

Went for "soft play centre for grown ups" as "adult softplay" sounded like it would throw up all kinds of stuff...

blackteasplease · 03/04/2017 15:11

I always thought climbing wall was a bit like adult soft play.

strawberryvanillachocolate · 03/04/2017 15:19

I really can't run! The only forms of exercise I might enjoy are too expensive/inconvenient for me to do regularly.

Quite a few parkour parks, which are adult not really very soft, but basically soft play.

I was in one last summer on holiday. Not o my for adults but adults are welcome to use the equipment. Adventure farm. Somewhere around Derbyshire/Staffordshire.

sneepy · 03/04/2017 15:30

Get a bike, nothing brings back childhood memories and that feeling of sheer exuberance of being alive like bombing down a hill in an early summer morning. Also get a strava account so you know how fast you were going compared to everyone else Grin

TwattyMcTwatface · 03/04/2017 20:02

I love swings. Now that play areas are all fenced off, though, you can't casually slide over if there's no children around - and I'm not brave enough to go all malice aforethought in my local park. I'm too fat for trampoline parks round me, so I suspect I'd be too fat for adult soft play as well - but I love the thought. They didn't exist when I was a child, but if I ever lose weight, I'll be in there like a ferret up a trouser leg.

Go ape is fab

x246 · 03/04/2017 20:21

There are a few ninja warrior gyms in the UK. Sort of like a playground for adults. Unfortunately none of them are anywhere near me.

OhhBetty · 03/04/2017 20:28

There's one in Lincolnshire

Buildalegohouse · 03/04/2017 20:31

Our best local soft play (cheshire) can be rented out for adult parties. They have a liquor licence too! I've never been but can imagine drunk soft play is awesome.
