President Trump is now at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, per pool. It is his 14th golf course trip since taking office 10 weeks ago.

How is his handicap doing?

How is his handicap doing?

Golf, or inability to formulate a clear plan?

cozietoesie · 02/04/2017 18:10
Grin

I just recalled that Kim Jong Il once played a 38 under par. Wondered if 45 was 'sharpening up' for negotiations with Kim Jong Un? Smile

Grin x 100 @ Mortificado

We know which one of those two options is the only one he cares about, don't we?

Grin Grin You're on fire illegitimate !

Can't believe Trump is playing golf AGAIN. I wonder if he will insist President Xi plays golf given the Chinese president hates the game, he likes soccer, and has shut down hundreds of golf courses and banned the ruling Communist Party from playing as he considers it a game for millionaires.

I think Trump needs to get his fat arse into gear and start practising ping pong, it's a chinese national sport. Grin

Came on here to say the Origin of the American Dream is worth a listen. It's always interesting to chart how much of what we think of permanent truths about culture, society etc are actually constantly changing and influenced by a whole range of things.

DoctorTwo · 02/04/2017 18:29

Anybody who says austerity is necessary is either a liar or knows nothing about economics and the production of money. Or, like the Gidiot, both.

I wish the World Bank, the EC and most Southern European governments agreed.

Lweji · 02/04/2017 18:39

I just recalled that Kim Jong Il once played a 38 under par.

That's about as reliable as the 99,99999% (or whatever it is) approval rate for Putin.

I think Trump needs to get his fat arse into gear and start practising ping pong,

He could get some lessons from Forrest Gump.

The way he's going, he'll soon be known as Forrest Trump, although that wouldn't really be fair on Gump. He was far too kind and clever.

cozietoesie · 02/04/2017 18:47

Would you have wanted to be the one to tell him that, though, Lweji? Wink

cozietoesie · 02/04/2017 18:51

Sorry. I meant 'tell Kim Jong Il'.

Lweji · 02/04/2017 18:53

Of course not. That was my point. :)

I bet they even helped the ball a bit, or closed their eyes while he did it.

Or it's one of those things like when Trump says "the wall will cost 12 billion, or 10 billion, or half, as I'm such a great negotiator". Just picked out of a MAGA hat.

“We would have fired him” in the Bush White House, he said. “This is use of official position for partisan election”

White House social media director misused official position by going after GOP lawmaker, ethics experts say

"A tweet by White House social media director Dan Scavino Jr. urging supporters of President Trump to challenge a GOP lawmaker may have violated a federal law that prohibits officials from using their positions for political activity, ethics experts said."

"Even though Scavino was tweeting from his personal account, the page at the time listed his official White House position and featured a photo of him inside the Oval Office, noted Richard Painter, who served as the chief White House ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush administration."

cozietoesie · 02/04/2017 19:09

Quite. But either way, I reckon it will have damaged the current administration.

HelsinkiLights · 02/04/2017 19:10

Trump played a lot of golf in Kazakhstan & did deals with Kazakhstan. Many "interesting" politicians & business men in Kazakhstan. Some quiet friendly with Putin.

PausingFlatly · 02/04/2017 20:26

Interesting, Ginger.

Remind me, which state is it where the legislature is trying to pass a law confiscating assets of people who attend or even organise demos which might become violent?

Wouldn't that affect everyone attending a Trump rally which became violent? Especially the man standing on the podium inciting the violence?

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 02/04/2017 20:26

That preacher Wallnau in Cozie's link has a very punchable face (see pic half way down) - although I'm prepared to own up that his repellent views may have influenced my view of him.
