Aibu to just sit amazed at this. All those years ago - what would the odds have been on this coming to pass?

Haha I do know what you mean OP. I don't really watch Top Gear unless DH has it on, and I was a MASSIVE Friends fan. So to turn on the TV and see Joey presenting a British programme seems really funny to me!

I think it's the fact you find it surprising now OP, rather than when he first got involved in the show that most people are about.

LOL, I'd consider it a fall from grace.

Friends was huge in the 90s, they were the highest paid TV stars at the time.

Now he's fronting a panel style show.

I mean, I know it's a big deal in the UK and that it's been imported to a lot of countries - but it's still a much bigger deal within the UK than it is outside it (we get it here, it's really not as lauded here as it is in the UK because it's not our show, not our celebrities, etc).

As a career move, it's not exactly Oscar/Emmy-winning stuff.

Shame, as I loved him in Episodes.

Yes i know he was on it from last year but Chris Evans was the main guy and I hadn't really watched it. Last night I caught it for the first time and there was Joey Tribiani sitting in Clarkson's chair. Clarkson to Joey - ok then.
