I agree OP looking at friends popularity during the show and even now,I wouldn't have expected any to be on Top Gear completely different shows in different countries, Matt ale Blanc never struck me as a presenter especially after his stint hosting on " the box"

Friends was a massive success, I don't think it's a fall from grace as top gear is an international monster and he got promoted to the lead presenter.

'Rissian dash cam' ..Cheap dash cams, passengers drinking vodka, tiny cheap eastern European cars..Must buy ingredients for 'coke and mentos' type experiment eg barrels of meths to shoot with ak-47...Footage very grainy and through windscreen wiper for funny bits...
