Neighbour cutting down our trees.

We bought our house three years ago, at the end of our garden we have a path to our allotment and next to my allotment is pigeon man he has 4 huge sheds full of them. He has offered to buy the allotment repeatable till I told him we would never sell it. We are turning it into a garden, play area and fruit orchard.

Last year we planted three fruit trees, he was saying we couldn't plant trees because his pigeons would go in them, I told him we would be planting the trees he started shouting and swearing at me in front of the DC (2,5 and 7 at the time)! So I changed the layout and planted two trees closer to his side (3 meters) because the play area was going to be that end so moved the orchard to his end.

We went down yesterday evening to mow it and trim the hedge. Fruit trees are fine but his been in and cut down three saplings

And now I'm worried his going to cut down the trees I'll be planting this year. His about 80 years old when he started swearing front of the DC I told him to go away and wave is in peace then he sent his son around who shouted at me for speaking to his father in a disrespectful way .

DH said we should have a rave down there would anyone want to join us

You planted the trees in the allotment?

If he cut down your trees it's criminal damage.

Has he admitted he did it? If so or you have proof it's him, you could call 101 and have them have a word with him, just so he's warned off from doing any more damage. It sounds like it needs dealing with calmly as it's the kind of situation that can really spiral.

Are you sure they were cut down and not eaten by deer or something. How about an obvious CCTV camera (fake if need be)

Does he have family you could talk to?

No proof otherwise I'd of called yesterday. He told us about the trees popping up last year (there silver birch) and have been cut of so no animals have eaten them. His family are just as bad my neighbours told me when we moved in the be careful with him

Will be popping fake CCTV that's a good idea. He will go crazy when I plant more trees so will report him then

Is it a huge problems for pigeon keepers when their pigeons go in trees?

I like the fact that you have mostly nice neighbours other than pigeon man - EXCEPT the one who thinks aliens visit the area!

Alien neighbour is lovely friend in his special way.

Last year i was sitting in the garden with my DM next door are away am his feeding their Dcat. I notice his all bandaged up, ask if his okay, he tells me all about his car accident that morning and all the drugs they've given him. Then he starts going on about apiens, if i see flashing lights it's ok it's just the aliens but to always watch the kids if they are playing outside, told me all about the real videos online and that they love to come in winter.

I thought fuck he must be really high, told DH about it when he got home he said he'd been waiting for me to find out and was pissing himself with laughter I chat to him now to find out the latest news
