Bloody hell, I'll have to tell my pal that when we go for our frequent Nando's that we have reached the middle class now!

notangelinajolie · 25/03/2017 12:53

Don't think you could ever call Nando's middle class.

19lottie82 · 25/03/2017 13:02

Yum. I want a Nando's now!

UptheChimne · 25/03/2017 13:35

Don't think you could ever call Nando's middle class.

But then, neither is MN.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 25/03/2017 13:41

Well that's a first. Nandos being called middle class.

UptheChimne · 25/03/2017 13:43

I have to admit, I don't really know what Nandos is? I'm assuming it's a takeaway chain?

LaurieMarlow · 25/03/2017 13:43

a game of pass the parcel

Um, they're teenagers Confused

Or was that supposed to be tongue in cheek?

TJDetweiler · 25/03/2017 13:44

All the people horrified that Nando's could be classed as middle class Grin. Are you more afraid of being associated with Nando's or being middle class?

LaurieMarlow · 25/03/2017 13:46

Actually, I think Nando's is as close to 'classless' as it gets. In that it appeals across classes.

And I see why it's classed as middle class when compared to KFC.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 25/03/2017 13:56

All the people horrified that Nando's could be classed as middle class grin. Are you more afraid of being associated with Nando's or being middle class?

Neither. I know people of all 'classes' that regularly go there.

amberdillyduck · 25/03/2017 13:58

Since when is Nando's middle class?

Nando is about as far from middle class as you can get around here.

1horatio · 25/03/2017 14:17

Well, whether Nando's is middle class, anything but or classless....

It's awesome imo :)

You can go there with vegan people, vegetarian people, other diets etc...

steff13 · 25/03/2017 14:23

£100 is good for a birthday party. We paid that 15 years ago.

This. I don't know what Nandos is (I'm in the U.S.), but that's about half what I pay when my boys have a LAN party at home for their birthdays, when you add up all the snacks and sodas and pizzas.

kingjoffreyworksintescos · 25/03/2017 14:26

Cineworld unlimited card ( I believe) gives a 20% off bill at Nando's

Teabagtits · 25/03/2017 14:29

I think OP has it wrong Wagamama is where all the middle class kids go after school instead of out of school club...

Dozer · 25/03/2017 14:30

KFC is much tastier.

LaurieMarlow · 25/03/2017 14:33

Wagamama hasn't got much of celebratory vibe at all. Really strange choice for a birthday party.

Nando's is bang on if you ask me. Much more fun.

ImaLannister · 25/03/2017 15:59

If anyone is Military/ex Military it's 20% off.

MrsGB2225 · 25/03/2017 16:00

There's a fancy sushi place near me that's becoming quite popular for kids parties!!Hmm

1horatio · 25/03/2017 16:02

Mrs

Why not? Sushi is my little half-brother's favourite food. (2nd favourite, actually)

He and the OP's daughter are about the same age...

MrsGB2225 · 25/03/2017 16:06

It's approx £30 a head, so it's just funny to see 10 5 year olds sat at the table. I was happy with a Mc Donald's and a tour of the kitchen when I was young Grin

GeorgeTheHamster · 25/03/2017 16:46

Ooh how do you have a LAN party?? (Or do you just mean they are all on your wifi?)

TheNaze73 · 25/03/2017 16:50

Nando's is a fast food joint. If it is middle class, then Prezzo must be Michelin starred.
Funniest thing I've read all day Grin

19lottie82 · 25/03/2017 17:27

MrsGB Nandos is nowhere near £30 a head!

It's between £9-12 for a main with sides and a bottomless soft drink is £2.50

Trills · 25/03/2017 17:32

MrsGB is talking about a sushi place being £30 a head, not Nandos.
