to ask posters to stop using a full stop to bookmark threads

It's ok, norman a slightly worrying user name might give you some leverage in that people might be reluctant to pick on you or get into a bun fight with a kind of stalkerish mildly deranged name.

As an aside why do people saytheir email as 'rufus dot reindeer @sky dot com' rather than rufus full stop reindeer @sky.full stop com'
