I've come to the conclusion that I've been single far too long - last week I found myself thinking that Fireman Sam is quite a hunk and I wouldn't mind a threesome with him and Elvis.

You never see the episodes where the underwriters are there and the insurance company is quibbling about paying out for yet another fire caused by Norman leaving a cake in the oven or Mike doing something stupid.

There's an unfortunate episode where Tom has a sort of animal hospital up in the mountain rescue station and there is more than a bit of the Rolf Harris about him.

Station officer Steele is clearly modelled on some old duffer who ran a station that the firemen who wrote it worked in. And when are they going to arrest the resident arsonist?

Dilys is amusing on some of the later series - quit sexually predatory towards Trevor who looks terrified of her.

Fireman Sam is a glory boy. Turns up to every emergency be it police, fire, medical etc and ALWAYS takes all the credit.

Watched an episode today where Elvis was extremely distraught because he thought Dolly the dummy had been left in a burning building. Who the hell worries about a dummy? I'm surprised PontyPandy hasn't burnt to the ground with him on the team!

I also watched another episode where Dilys was getting overly excited for a camping trip with Trevor. Poor man looked absolutely petrified at the thought of going camping with her when clearly he was doing the whole of Pontypandy a favour and losing Norman in the forest

I thought Tom Thomas had something going on with Moose. They are a lovely couple.

I miss Bella Lasagne, and the way Mike Flood used to enjoy her spaghetti bollocknese.
