I hope your excuse is you are very very young chai but my 16 year old would be shocked at your posts.

book what a sad link isn't it.

Praying and hoping she survives

PlayOnWurtz · 22/03/2017 17:01

helen it could have been worse were it not for our incredible emergency services and the staff from st Thomas hospital

ChaiTeaTeddy · 22/03/2017 17:01

I apologise. This thread isn't the place. I'm sorry.

ToastDemon · 22/03/2017 17:01

Chai just shut up now please.

Doyouwantabrew · 22/03/2017 17:02

A woman has been pulled alive from the river with serious injuries.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 22/03/2017 17:02

ChaiTeaTeddy

Grow up.

160A4 · 22/03/2017 17:02

Well said, Toast

Believeitornot · 22/03/2017 17:02

I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of our sky subscription as my tiny insignificant protest to their awful coverage.

Soubriquet · 22/03/2017 17:03

Oh I hope she's ok

listsandbudgets · 22/03/2017 17:03

Go and hang your head in shame Chai.. politicians jave children and spouses mothers and fathers... how would you feel of one of them was your son or partner.

Hasnt there been enough trauma and distress caused already today without vile goady comments like yours. Ive reported your posts

Doyouwantabrew · 22/03/2017 17:03

chai there's no place on mumsnet for posts like that. Glad you apologised.

alteredimages · 22/03/2017 17:03

I think that was a bit clumsily expressed Helenluvsrob. From where I'm sitting it seems quite bad enough.

Met wouldn't confirm whether incident was over or ongoing.

I agree that telegraph article sounds like bad news. Sad

listsandbudgets · 22/03/2017 17:04

Thank you for apologising cross posted with you

Sunnymeg · 22/03/2017 17:04

A primary school local to us has about 50 children visiting parliament, who are subject to the lock down. The school has tweeted to say all in good spirits and they are singing songs. Terrifying for them all though.

FlappinSwazy · 22/03/2017 17:04

Any news on the stabbed police officer? I keep looking at the shoes of the one in the ambulance and they are not police shoes, now hoping it was a plain clothes police officer.

Backingvocals · 22/03/2017 17:05

BBC today. No other outlet can cover this properly or appropriately. I seriously give thanks for the BBC and our lack of Fox News on a day like today so let's hope Murdoch doesn't get any further in the UK.

Penfold007 · 22/03/2017 17:05

ChaiTeaTeddy hang your head in shame. I have two family members involved in dealing with this incident.

PlayOnWurtz · 22/03/2017 17:05

Wasn't plain clothes all reports state it was clearly a police officer

ToastDemon · 22/03/2017 17:06

A few months ago I watched the policemen there posing for pictures with tourists. They were so friendly and smiley and good-natured about it.
I hope the injured officer pulls through.

PausingFlatly · 22/03/2017 17:06

Fucking hell, Chai. Angry

I actually don't have words for what you just said - and I'm someone who a few years ago was very badly affected by disability benefit cuts and the behaviour of ATOS.

listsandbudgets · 22/03/2017 17:06

wondering what will happen next. My fear is further attacks in another big city while the eyes of the naion are looking looking elsewhere

PausingFlatly · 22/03/2017 17:07

Thanks to your relatives, Penfold.

Wando1986 · 22/03/2017 17:08

Policeofficer is the other body covered up in the garden area where the suspected terrorist has just been removed from. It shows the other officers holding their feet up to help circulation/blood loss. Then they stop working on the officer and must have called time of death.

alteredimages · 22/03/2017 17:08

FlappinSwazy I am not having a go but why would it make a difference if the police officer wasn't in uniform?

MycatsaPirate · 22/03/2017 17:08

Someone posted on twitter from inside parliament that the children were all singing and it was all 'beautifully British'.

Being 'beautifully British is what will keep this country strong and determined not to let terror win.

We will continue to live in peace with others from different countries and religions and we will not bow down to terrorist scumbags no mater what their cause.
