Breaking on the Huff and Beeb

OP posts:
BillSykesDog · 22/03/2017 18:59

So it's looking like somebody who has been openly saying he wanted to commit terror acts but still free did it? Blimey, never could have predicted that one could they?

Whattodo23 · 22/03/2017 18:59

Counttothree google extremist Hindus and c of e you will get plenty of examples. Except as always their atrocities are never mentioned in the mainstream media. Don't be so ignorant.

Polarbearflavour · 22/03/2017 19:00

Izzadeen had previously been in prison for terrorism offences and was a hate preacher.

Whattodo23 · 22/03/2017 19:01

Sad that he's died and avoided punishment

BillSykesDog · 22/03/2017 19:02

But Hindus extremism is largely confined to India. And I don't remember many Christian extremist attacks in the UK within recent memory.

AllebaraMama · 22/03/2017 19:02

He was an associate of Anjem Choudry. Doing Choudrys dirty work

Whattodo23 · 22/03/2017 19:05

Billstykes the pp was struggling to accept other religions had people committing atrocities and justifying to their religion. My response was to her.

Whattodo23 · 22/03/2017 19:06

We need severe punishment for hate preachers.

I certainly was not saying that!!!! This is Britain, not India. Where are the extremist Hindus here? Where are the radical Jains? The militant Jews? You won't find them, not even hiding out in the pages of the Daily Mail.

ToastDemon · 22/03/2017 19:13

Count2three please don't turn derail like this.

southall · 22/03/2017 19:18

Sad that he's died and avoided punishment

Our soft jails are no punishment for what he did.
Plus he probably would have claimed compensation for getting shot and won.

UnbornMortificado · 22/03/2017 19:18

DH's uncle was a policeman and executed outside his house in front of his family by the IRA.

There is evil everywhere.

PausingFlatly · 22/03/2017 19:19

Blimey, Are some folks trying to live up to the complaints on the Martin McGuinness threads complaining NI gets treated differently...

Bomb went off there yesterday aimed at police officers. Thank god, didn't kill anyone - though no thanks to the bombers.

And people here are saying who else would commit an act of terror?

BillSykesDog · 22/03/2017 19:19

The IRA was political not religious. It just happened that the two sides were roughly split by religion, it wasn't motivated by it.

lazycrazyhazy · 22/03/2017 19:20

Channel 4 news talking of the nurses and doctors who ran on foot from St Thomas' Hospital on the south side of the bridge to help: this is the good side of humanity.

Count2three · 22/03/2017 19:20

Apologies Toast, wasn't my intention to derail, I'll leave the thread; it's too early for this discussion. My knee jerk reaction to the regressive left apologists is to bite.

Gini99 · 22/03/2017 19:21

whattodo23 google extremist Hindus and c of e you will get plenty of examples. Except as always their atrocities are never mentioned in the mainstream media.

I've just googled 'extremist Church of England' and it came up with stories such as one about a C of E school that had been sanctioned by OFSTED due to extremist material posted by its Islamic society. It was only quick look but I have never heard of atrocities committed by extremist C of E members. Perhaps you can link?

Derlei · 22/03/2017 19:22

BillSykes, if you strip it down, the problems in the Middle East (where Islamic terrorism has thrived) is all because of politics

wizzywig · 22/03/2017 19:22

My thoughts go to all those affected by this tragedy. I dont know what else to say. We have such brave police and ambulance men and women. And the MP tobias elwood, i take my hat off to all these people.

PollytheDolly · 22/03/2017 19:24

Izzadeen had previously been in prison for terrorism offences and was a hate preacher.

Looks horribly like the dead terrorist on the stretcher.

If it was him then how the.....? I'm lost for words. Sad

GreenTshirt55 · 22/03/2017 19:24

@Namechangernancy TM is in a Cobra meeting you idiot

Whattodo23 · 22/03/2017 19:24

Gini sorry I mis typed. Meant the typical Catholic/ protestant thing. I don't want to derail the thread just got sick of being called a apologist for stating facts.
