to leave fake shopping lists written by DD in the trolley

Since discovering on here that people read and judge on other people's shopping lists they find I've been doing this.

Is it very bad to get DD to write lists such as:

Beer
Crisps
Bread
Chicken nuggets
Gin
Vodka
Cigs
Peas
Nappies

What is wrong with peas?

WorraLiberty · 13/03/2017 10:49

You need to add quinoa and then (Lolz, just jokin) in brackets Grin

kineticmagnetic · 13/03/2017 10:51

Peas are a must on every shopping list.

LurkingHusband · 13/03/2017 10:52

Have yet to see one of my lists mentioned on MN ...

StorminaBcup · 13/03/2017 10:53

You need a random abbreviation.

Screwinthetuna · 13/03/2017 10:53

I'd go with

Breast feeding pads
Ciggies
Voddy
Lube
Quails eggs

DD is only 6 so not sure on condoms and morning after pill making the list but she does know it's the just funny list.

AndHoldTheBun · 13/03/2017 11:04

It will help her spelling, try working up to a few more challenging product names, from a variety of food groups and the non grocery area, to confuse and intrigue those who find the lists...

Ball of butchers twine

2 alarm clocks, one cream/one black.

A small aubergine

BarbaraofSeville · 13/03/2017 11:17

Obviously a list like the one I posted above should be left in Waitrose for added intrigue.

40 Fags

MycatsaPirate · 13/03/2017 11:19

You need some confusing things on it.

Like 'green tins x 3'

So that if it ends up on here then we can all argue over which green tins it may be.
