Two years ago I lost 6 stone
On a meal replacement plan (not sure I can name it here or not). I was fastidious about losing and how weights correlated to sizes and still have my workings here for interest:
5'6
Start weight - 17stone 10 - size 22
16 stone 7 - size 20
15 stone 4 - size 18
14 stone - size 16
12 stone 10 - size 14
Lowest weight I got to was 12 stone 2 and I was in a River Island 14 jeans and a Dorothy Perkins 12 blouse.
I am a pear shape - 38a bra - I have to buy this size online!!
I lost the weight in six months, maintained it for 16 months (maintenance is a euphemism for being ridiculous, but I don't want to trigger anyone). I could not maintain properly... then my gall bladder decided enough was enough...
My point is this - I'm now back at 15 stone 10 (and am currently wearing an 18 Primark 'linen' trousers
) - which incidentally are so thin they are see through - but that could be another thread! I started January 1st at 17 stone 7 so almost lost two stone so far...
I've named the brands in some cases because I was bloody obsessed and documented everything some makes have more give than others. I.e RI jeans are quite small / Dotty P a bit more 'give'...
I am sure you won't, but Please don't do yourself a disservice by not taking care of yourself whilst you lose weight, or look for a quick fix like I did. I say that drawing from my own experience, it all too quickly became an obsession for me. No offence or harm meant at all. Just kindness. This time around, I'm doing it the old fashioned way, kcals down, movement up! Good luck!
